A bridge is often a practical necessity in a world where time is the highest valued currency. These two bridges cut the traveling time quite considerably while giving one of the finest views in Kristiansand. Yet, these two giants are going to be replaced with a single bridge which will have to carry the burden of two.
Another victim of the advance of technology. Now with most people having a mobile phone this sight is getting increasingly rare in England.
Another shot from the Waterberg Wilderness Reserve near Mokopane last September. There's a gorgeous sundowners spot where you can sit and watch the sun setting behind Hangklip Mountain, a little outcrop at the edge of the Waterberg Mountains. There was a lot of dust in the sky as it hadn't rained for months so the sun was a glorious red orb as it dropped below the skyline.
A little-known fact about Hangklip Mountain - it's only accessible by helicopter and it's the toughest Par 3 golf hole in the world.
INCANDESCENT EXTINCTION
This artwork includes two elements, one arranged vertically above the other. This last element is arranged horizontally on the ground. The two elements incorporate color gradients, one goes towards yellow, the other goes towards sky blue. On the horizontal element, the numbers 100,000, 10,000 and 1,000, in black on a white background, are arranged on black bands.

Due to Rayleigh scattering in our atmosphere, bluer light from our star is scattered around by the gas particles in random directions, granting us a blue sky. Red light however passes through these gasses much easier due to wavelength differences. As the sun gets low in the horizon the light has to travel through more atmospheric gas to reach the observer, most of the blue light is scattered out early on leaving only the redder light waves to reach the eye (or the cam :P), this is why sunset and sunrise have these beautiful red colours.
Science bi*ch!

Never has the issue of climate change been more urgent. The most recent IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) report, published on 4 April 2022, stated that drastic action was needed immediately in order to prevent a climate catastrophe that would mean millions becoming refugees and millions more suffering from malnutrition and famine.
This would require an immediate halt to any investment in or expansion of fossil fuel production. However, despite the stark warning, the UK government is determined to continue investment in North Sea oil and gas, seemingly dedicated to accelerating climate change..
Professor Jim Skea, co-chair of the working group at the IPCC responsible for determining the best measures for mitigating climate change, declared "It's now or never, if we want to limit global warming to 1.5C. Without immediate and deep emissions reductions across all sectors, it will be impossible.'
Realising that years of petitioning and protests had failed to persuade the British government of the need for immediate and profound measures to reduce emissions, Extinction Rebellion decided to launch a week of direct action across Britain. In London, this started on the weekend of 9 and 10 April, with climate change activists marching through central London, for two days of protests which included sit down blockades of Vauxhall and Lambeth bridges. On Lambeth Bridge a group of doctors and nurses refused to leave and were arrested by the police.
According to the group website Doctorsforxr.com, 'Doctors for Extinction Rebellion is a doctors' collective who, appreciating that climate change is an impending public health catastrophe, have decided to undertake civil disobedience with Extinction Rebellion.

Extinction Rebellion uses nonviolent civil disobedience to compel government action to avoid tipping points in the climate system, biodiversity loss and the risk of social and ecological collapse.
Groups found to be critical of Extinction Rebellion are usually found to have deep ties to big government and to the fossil fuel industry.
I've listened to arguments from both sides and I side with the Rebellion.
Happy Friday and weekend to you.

Life goes on thinking that pollution can't harm us. It's beyond from us. How strange we are leading our life everyday through too much risky environment in Bangladesh!
I just read that people now growing up will not comprehend how many birds and animals have disappeared from the world.
