Some things never gets old, it went through thick and thin but came out a survival
Special Thanks: Joshua Tan from Australia for the birthday present
Extinction Rebellion are doing a Good Friday protest on Westminster Bridge so busses were all stopping at Lambeth North. It was easier than usual to walk across the bridge once I got past this bit. Just walked in the centre of the road!
It´s still real

Comparisons with the rate at which species have disappeared from the planet over a long period of Earth’s history indicate that humans have already increased extinctions levels dramatically. Projections suggest that this rate will take another big leap due to changes over the next 50 years. The bars represent the range of estimates in each case.

Environmental activists hold a road block and street party in Kingsland High Street, North London, to raise awareness of the need for action on climate change and to leaflet the area on forthcoming events.
After half an hour shooting the protest I completely forgot I was in the middle of a usually very busy road, with the organisers from Extinction Rebellion ensuring there were enough activities to keep everyone - young and old - informed, entertained and even fed with free food.

Climate criminals - Exxon kills: Extinction Rebellion activists blockade the exit to the Exxon-Mobil fuel terminal in Yarraville, Melbourne - with two locking on to a large, concrete barrel which required nearly a dozen cops to move. The blockade resulted in two arrests.
The Exxon-Mobil fuel terminal has long been a target for Extinction Rebellion activists.

Not bad, but the weakest of the three.
A few new things, lots of blood and gore and some good action, but just not as good as the others.
Sybiil Disobedients led a 'dance to extinction' through the streets of Melbourne in protest against Vic Forests for continuing to allow logging in Victoria's old growth forests. Part of Day 3 of Extinction Rebellion's Autumn Rebellion.

The White Rhino consists of two races. The Southern White Rhino numbers over 17,000. The above animal is of the Northern subspecies. It is one of eight left on Earth. They are all in captivity. This one is an aged female and no longer capable or reproduction. I believe that the bulk of these remaining animals are kept in the SD Zoo. The species is not expected to ever recover.

Extinction Rebellion and Scientist Rebellion Italy carried out an enormous "guerrilla" projection on the venue of the 2022 Gastech Conference in Milan, exposing the destructive consequences of this criminal industry.
Fossil gas is just another dirty fossil fuel that emits CO2 when burnt and leaks methane (a super potent greenhouse gas) all along its supply chain. As the climate crisis intensifies, any new gas investments are investments in death and destruction. #CleanGasIsADirtyLie!
Companies like BP, Shell, and ENI are making billions in profits off of an #EnergyCrisis they helped create, cashing out on the war in Ukraine and financing dictatorships worldwide. The salaries of their CEOs are paid for by consumers whose utility bills are strangling them.
We won't be fooled by events like Gastech. THE GAS ERA MUST END! Now is the time to accelerate the transition away from ALL fossil fuels and radically scale up decentralised renewable energy, electrification, and energy efficiency across Europe.

Climate activists from Extinction Rebellion hold roadblocks outside the main venue for London Fashion Week, calling on the industry to use its considerable influence to raise awareness of the threat posed by climate change and environmental degradation. Each roadblock lasted a few minutes - and then repeated - and leaflets were distributed to drivers and passersby. Emergency vehicles were allowed to pass and most of the drivers I saw were more curious than annoyed about the delays.

Activists from Extinction Rebellion block traffic at Oxford Circus, in the heart of London's shopping district, and stage a fashion show "intended to disrupt the language and symbols of the fashion industry." With pink carpets laid for a catwalk, and music playing, models showed off garments made from recylable materials in a protest highlighting the wasteful and disposable nature of the fashion industry and its significant contribution to the carbon dioxide emmissions which cause global warming.
