A very defining feature at the Kelvingrove Museum in Glasgow, there are 90 heads suspended from the ceiling inviting you into the arts section.

Hay miradas que inspiran, que calman, que aportan nobleza.

When I saw these oranges ( produced in Spain ) on the market, I knew they would give a colorful picture !

This is another DRI work (no tone mapping applied).

________

I want to live

I want to give

I've been a miner for a heart of gold

It's these expressions

I never give

That keep me searching for a heart of gold

And I'm getting old

Keep me searching for a heart of gold

And I'm getting old

I've been to Hollywood

I've been to Redwood

I crossed the ocean for a heart of gold

I've been in my mind

It's such a fine line

That keeps me searching for a heart of gold

And I'm getting old

Keeps me searching for a heart of gold

And I'm getting old

Keep me searching for a heart of gold

You keep me searching and I'm growing old

Keep me searching for a heart of gold

I've been a miner for a heart of gold

I might be wooden, but I convey feelings.

No photoshop. I created this abstract image with eyes of celebrities torn from magazines. Eyes give away human emotions.

In the animal world this would be the expression you got when you were told there was No More Christmas Pudding!!

Amsterdam - Spaarndammerplantsoen.

"Spaarndam 2" is a social housing complex built in the Amsterdam School style of architecture and designed in 1918 by architect Michel de Klerk. With this sculptural block, De Klerk has made a major contribution to the street scene. Particularly beautiful are the trapezoidal windows, the sculptures above the porches reminiscent of mushrooms and starfish, the imaginative wooden attic windows and the very special organic windows of the former shop corner.

Restoration was completed this spring.

Happy Wall Wednesday!

I heard from a few friends recently about their new year’s resolutions. Quite frankly, I never believed in that. Why does one has to wait for a specific date to make a resolution? For me, the end of a year has always been a time to reflect about the year that passed and draw conclusions. I once wrote on a contact’s stream that ‘if the pandemic has taught us anything is to be kinder to each other’. Saying it was perhaps too naïve. Instead, I should have written that if the pandemic has taught us anything is how we endure and react during challenging times. It is during such times that show more than anything else, who we really are.

So, let’s raise a glass to 2022, a year to create more memories, have more trips, and discover new places. I’ll drink to that!
