View looking across the Thames from south of the river near Tower Bridge, as darkness falls. Landmark buildings such as The Walkie Talkie, The Gherkin, The Scalpel and The Cheesegrater are seen in the background.
These days I can rely on the camera vibration reduction and shoot 1/4 or 1/3 seconds exposure handheld.
First attempt at Low Light Photography.
Any tips or tricks for the next time that anyone could give me, it would be greatly appreciated!!!
Shortest exposure time with Minolta XM 1/2.000 sec.
Um die Zeit festzuhalten braucht es Zeit. Bei meiner Minolta XM ist die kürzeste Zeit etwas festzuhalten 1/2.000 sec. Detail des Einstellrades für die Belchitungszeit. Maßstab 2:1.
To capture time, you need time. With my Minolta XM, the shortest time to capture something is 1/2,000 sec. Detail of the setting wheel for the exposure time. Scale 2:1.

Long exposure photography can be challenging at times. The lighting, timing and just how long the exposure, can make a huge difference in the outcome.

I was enjoying playing with my camera, and tried all kinds of settings and combinations, I had 3 different lenses, including the Lensbaby, and I didn't always get the exposure right!! I think I was probably trying a slow speed and and camera movement, on an aperture priority setting - it has needed a little bit of tweaking to get this!
The Little Missouri River begins in western Arkansas southeast of Mena, flowing freely through the Ouachita Mountains and scenic areas of the Ouachita National Forest that include the Little Missouri Falls and Albert Pike recreation areas.
