The full 3/4 length shot from the 'Bleed' image I shot a little while ago.
I originally had much bigger plans for this image but it turned out to not work that well so here is how far I got to! I think it's probably good to just put this up here and move on to new images!

slider sunday: just a bit of sliding of contrast and darks, then sharpening to make it a bit grittier.
it was sort of a cold and grey day so gritty was the outdoor "theme"

Just got back from a week in Cornwall (as you may have guessed if you've seen previous posts).
7 days 7 rolls (plus a couple of 35mm tri-x and another of superia!).
Good times.
EXPOSED is a non-linear sequence of images operating in the space between light and shadow. It rejects linear storytelling in favor of an intuitive layering of themes, moving toward a point where language ceases and visual truth emerges. There is no explication; the images are left alone to "expose" their own meaning to the viewer. (EXPOSED has been submitted for the LensCulture Photobook Prize 2026 Submission)
Notes:
EXPOSED functions as the structural conclusion (Chapter 9) of a broader, long-form book project; additional imagery can be integrated during the final publication design phase with Nazraeli Press. To protect the non-linear cadence of the sequence, there is no explanatory prose.

Translation of French environmental text on a 1977 election campaign poster (Zaire / DRC): "WE DON’T SEE THE IMPORTANCE OF GOING TO THE BALLOT BOX CITIZEN MOBUTU. WE ARE ALWAYS BEHIND YOU AND NO ONE IS UNAWARE OF ALL THAT YOU HAVE ALREADY DONE."

Contextual analysis of English environmental graffiti: "I’M BLACK, FUCK MOB, FUCK RED" refers directly to the shadowy "men in black" tactical forces and the Red Shirt democracy movement during the Bangkok demonstrations (May–June 2010); it is entirely distinct from racial context.
