Not sure what I was expecting to get when I took this, but probably not this. It's what happens when you've been photographing something dark on a dark background and forget to change your camera settings when you swap to something light on a light background. So this is a mistake, but slightly more interesting than anything else I took a picture of this morning!

Expose at work - makes swapping between apps so easy. Already a massive time saver compared to working in Windows.
This is on the Waterloo Bridge. I decided to take advantage of the wonderful skys we were having in the evenings in London.
These two Cattle Egrets have to find a bigger home as they seem to be a bit crowded. The one's left wing is open to expose the beautiful colors inside. Like a beautiful Angel ready to take flight. The other one probably caring for the hatchlings as its nesting season. This and the other water bird photos were taken last week when I flew down to Delray Beach to see my Dad, my son and my brother and his two boys for a while. My Dad and I slipped over to Wakodahatchee Wetlands a couple times. Love that place.
The signal gantry, rails and overhead wires all blurred by exposing for 2.5 sec, at f22 using the train as a tripod. Treated in Picnik using Lomo -ish effect.
A long exposure shot taken at Thurlestone of the exposed rocks with the tide heading out. I used a 10 Stop ND filter with a 1 minute shutter speed finished off with Nik Software plugs in and Lightroom.

I love doing long exposures, particularly living near water. BUT, I do find myself always going for the really long exposure (10 sec +) and I really haven't experimented much with the 1-3 second range. I set out today with my polarizer and grad filter to work in that range. I got two shots I really like, this is one of them. I like how much more movement is portrayed by this little bit shorter exposure time, can make for some surreal type shots.
