Happy Weekend!

Does anyone of you know which plant this is? never seen that before...

FESTIVAL HOLI 2016 SABADELL .

Greenspring Gardens, Annandale, VA. Sony A6500 and E18-135.

Since the old camera is still in the old repair shop (with return date still unknown), I thought I'd go digging through some of my recent shoots for shots I'd been meaning to process but hadn't got the chance to.

This one was taken about six weeks ago out at Laguna Creek Beach, where I ran into Will Shieh (aka stinky tofu (aka lightvision)). And I'm totally blanking on anything else interesting to say, so ah-chatch-cha! Goodnight!

July 4th is one of the only few days in the year where as Americans, we set off bursts of flame-like lights into the sky. When I was capturing this, you can see several fireworks show spanning across the San Francisco bay. It is amazing to see a day where we all unite and join together in celebrating our independence and freedom as a nation. It is a day where we all relate as Americans and remember those that fought for our nation. It is also a day where we can watch a spectacular light show.

I've been studied and prepared so much for those days that I decided to stop taking photographs for 1 year. My head is gonna to explode and my heart just wanna jump out of chest. Wish all the best to me right now...

More attempts at action shots, easier now that I realized ghost *can* be activated in combat, just doesn't always work at first or second or even third try! =P

Another dandelion shot from a series I took a while back.

This is version is an interesting explore of a new technique I fell over while messing about on the iPad with Affinity

It goes like this: take the normal image and duplicate it. Use an adjustment on the bottom version (this was High Pass/Linear Blend though others were interesting too) and then blend the top copy with Difference mode. This will be very dark but it has interesting lines and colours. Zap it with a sledgehammer Exposure adjustment to actually see what you have got and then tweak from there...

It reminds me a bit of some plugin effects you can get, and it adds a bit of interesting colour and detail...

As it's part of a Sliders Sunday set I'll post a link to the in-camera original in the first comment so you can see how far we came.

Thank you for taking the time to look. I hope you enjoy the image! Happy weekend :)

The sunset did not look promising, with low grey clouds. Then the sun dipped under the cloud deck and the red burn spread until the sky exploded in this blaze. It lasted just a few minutes.

This photo is one frame of the time lapse that comes next in my photo stream. Trying time lapse is teaching me how sunsets evolve.

He intentado capturar el efecto de las gotas de agua salpicando contra la naranja. No he logrado el efecto deseado... seguiré trabajando en ello.

What Resistance Trooper really hate about Coffee Fields? Definitely being hit by coffee Explosions. Not only they make you jump but also they make you nervous for the whole day and sleepless the following night.

This is one of the first experiment with object in movement. I hope the result is far better than the condition of my kitchen after throwing so much coffee around :)

Awesome sunset over Chesil Beach in Dorset a few days back 👌

One from last night's local fireworks display....not as easy to photograph as I thought it would be; the internet made it sound so easy....LOL!!!!!

Have a great Friday, and as always, thanks for all your visits and comments!!!!!

You can just feel the spring bubbling, ready to explode when you see its first exploreres emerge.
