Mallard ducks on the river Wallington in Fareham Hampshire. They are called Dabbling Ducks as they mostly feed off the top of the water and don't dive for food. I took this photo with my Canon camera

Ripe Plane Tree Fruit on the Banks of the Warta (Platanus acerifolia, Platanus hispanica, London plane, hybrid plane; Platan klonolistny). The London plane develops green, spiky fruits which develop in clusters (olive green to grey bark with a camouflage-style pattern, no woodland tree). The American sycamore and Oriental plane hybrid discovered in the 17th century then widely planted in the 18th, can grow to 35m and can live for several hundred years.

Nuts in Green Spiky Seedcase in September (Castanea sativa, the sweet chestnut, or Spanish chestnut). The long-lived chestnut trees belong to the same family as oaks and beeches and live for up to 700 years. They are a symbol of wise circumspection. Both the types: Castanea sativa (in parks and gardens) and Castanea dentata (in arboretums) can be found in Poland.

My girl is exploring evening fog. Her father says, that in the evening haze hares are having their sauna, so she's looking for the bunnies :)

Rügen is a true gem! 🌿🚲 Biking through the picturesque fields with a breathtaking view of Cape Arcona and its two charming lighthouses was an absolute delight. 🌅💫 #Rügen #ExploringNature #BikingAdventures

White Magnolia Blooms, Spring 2022

This image is a candid snapshot of Hazel, a red merle Border Collie, experiencing her first moments by the lakeside. Her tentative steps and the curious tilt of her head capture the essence of a puppy's inquisitive nature. The natural lighting of the overcast day enriches the colors of the autumn leaves and the soft earthy tones of the surroundings. I aimed to seize the spontaneity of Hazel's exploration, a fleeting second of puppyhood set against the calmness of the water and the wilderness around her.

Borneo (Malaysian Part) Kotakinabalu, Orang-utan rehabilitation centre.

Jaya (I think is the little one) Yoda ( I think is the older ), both very young males. rescued orang-utans in the rehabilitation program , located in the rainforest of the Shangri-la , Rasa Ria , resort www.shangri-la.com/en/property/kotakinabalu/rasariaresort... . Here a small party can accompany a ranger to the feeding station (at a distance) and if you are lucky the rescuees come down to see the ranger and his bucket of food, whilst he checks on them and encourages them to learn the skills required to cope in the wild again when they are returned to Sepilock. The proceeds of this venture contribute to the rehab program . I have pictures and videos of the event. this video and others I have shows just how difficult it is to see the primates in the trees in the wild , yet can not portray what a privilege it is to witness . Had the ranger not been there , we would not have seen this. The team are very dedicated to the orangs and are very patient with us, the eco-tourists , kindly tolerating our interests with a genuine mission to educate us about the plight and the needs of the orangs ,in times of deforestation and a fight to re-introduce them into protected rainforest in a plight to preserve them and their environment. dedicated with thanks and appreciation to all who are committed to this immense project. thank you!

( we were actually in the protected rainforest where these guys are learning how to live in the wild. they are young males. Yoda is the eldest I think and was taken there in 2007 at about 2 years old. The mothers are killed for people who want the young babies as pets. Others , older are often found distressed and starving as the rainforest

they live in disappears by the hour. This project rescues them , rehabilitates them and returns them to a protect area of rainforest to live out a normal healthy life..... if they are lucky! The pictures were taken with a telephoto and were were close but not as close as it looks. I hope we did not impact too much on them...they certainly did not interact with us in any way. the ranger was very protective! we felt very humble xxxxg)

Ok, its New Years Day. Ray being the avid photog that he is, wanted to spend the day in 'nature' shooting all the amazing creatures that all out in the 'wild blue yonder' to explore! So of course I went too.

I got some great shots of Sandhill Cranes, Ibis, gators, turtles and other great natural Florida creatures.

Once I get some of those beautiful pictures edited, I'll have to share some with you all.

I hope everyone had a great start to the New Year.....

I know I did......I had my future husband by my side!

A beautiful winter forest scene covered in fresh snow. Tall leafless trees stand quietly under a layer of white, while gentle sunlight breaks through the branches, creating a magical and peaceful atmosphere. A serene winter landscape full of calm, light, and natural beauty.

Girando per le Torbiere la mattina presto, questo è stato l'unico coniglietto che sono riuscito a fotografare. Curiosa era l'attenzione che prestava nella ricerca della direzione dove recarsi per trovare le provviste per la prima colazione.

Amidst the harsh terrain, delicate green plants emerge, symbolizing nature’s incredible ability to reclaim even the most extreme landscapes.

Sweet Chestnut (Castanea sativa) in Chalin. There are several natural monuments in the mansion park around the baroque manor house. The Sweet Chestnut tree (515 cm in circumference) comes into bloom in June but no total ripeness of its fruits is observed (sensitive to late and early frosts).
