Last year I planted a beautiful bush/tree in our backyard, cornus kousa. Sadly it did not bloom, so I was left to wonder about its beauty.
But this year I was not left to my imagination, for over a month now, it is blooming beautifully, I can hardly wait for the whole bush to grow bigger, its gonna be spectacular.

A rare butterfly in Northern California. There are 20+ in our Elk Grove yard with larvae feeding on Passion Flower Vines.
