Explore #255 I had a lot of fun rock scrambling on Sunday, it was perfect weather and a sweet little spot for exploring. The weather is JUST starting to cool somewhat and by that I mean it is slightly LESS steamy and humid lol.
So if you want to come exploring with me hit the teleport button. lol
I hope you are all having a great beginning to your week and everything is fine and dandy...It is kinda hard to push off to work when you have this kinda of place that wants exploring further. lol I guess it does pay for the camera equipment lol ;)
Have a wonderful Tuesday, Monday if that's where you are and soon Wednesday will be upon us bold and bright and new :) Car

this may look like a motion shot but he was actually stood still like this, he wasn't leaning back on to anything either, no seat, far too clever for me, I had no idea how he did it. Can't believe this 'bit of fun' shot made explore, thanks so much for your views, comments and faves
(51/366) This book contains old photos & information about Bromsgrove the town in Worcestershire, England where I was born. The cover photo was taken in 1919 & the smallest boy is my Grandfather Bernard Hirons who was 7 at the time. He's with his older brother Bill & their father Bill senior, my great Grandfather. They had not long returned from Canada where they'd emigrated in 1916, I'm not sure what brought them back I must ask my mother.
They're stood outside a pub called the Horn and Trumpet, the pub landlord (in the apron) Thomas Cresswell was Bill senior's brother-in-law. The horse-drawn carriage was taking pub regulars on a day trip to Bridgnorth in Shropshire. Sadly they are all no longer with us but it's fascinating to have this book as a keepsake.
I can’t get enough of shots like this.
Inspired by my heroes Gavin Dunbar 500px.com/gavindunbar, Steve Landeros 500px.com/stevelanderos, Albert Tam 500px.com/superboo, Nathan Wirth 500px.com/nlwirth, Scott Frederick 500px.com/ScottFrederick and Joel Tjintjetaar 500px.com/JoelTjintjelaar (among so many others) minimal black and whites are simply my favorite images.
I don’t know what the hell I’m doing but feel like I’m getting a little closer to the desired results with each attempt. onOne certainly helps there. If you haven’t seen the work these incredible artists come up with on a near daily basis..TREAT YOURSELF. You won’t be disappointed.

Thanks for looking!
Anyone remember that Thunderbolts comic series during that whole Marvel Now reboot?
They had a cool concept, a team put together by General Ross to do some covert missions. It had potential until they put Leader in there and then things got weird... :(
Anyway, onto the figures...
Deadpool: Regular Lego Minifigure :)
Elektra: You've seen her before; purist figure made by yours truly :)
Agent Venom: A figure I made way back in 2014 when the character made his debut in the Ultimate Spider-Man television series. I took him apart since then but I decided to revamp it now. What you see is what you get but I really happen to like it. :)
Agent Venom was the reason for this photo and Deadpool and Elektra were just put in there for a less boring pic. Hope you guys like it. :)

Day 1/365
A new year and a new photo project. I went to bed last night with no intention of partaking in any photo projects but woke this morning with the idea of a photo every day, taken on my phone and uploaded to Facebook.
This is day one taken during an afternoon walk.
An old one, from the archives (trip to New York City, 2008). New crop and new b&w conversion. See earlier in my stream for a coloured, uncropped version.
Haven't been able to go out shooting these past 10 days, so please bear with me with these archive shots. New work will follow in a few days.

The vessel started its life as a passenger boat in the Abel Tasman National Park as a passenger boat named Abel Tasman Explorer. Purchased it in 2015 and completed a refit of the interior and the engine in the same year. The Bay Explorer crew then took the boat from Motueka through French pass, Cook Strait and up the East Coast of the North Island, to its new home in Tauranga. it now operates as part of the successful business alongside its sister vessel, the KEWPIE (www.kewpiecruises.co.nz)

Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes.

Don't worry, be happy; life is too short to being sorry...
