Esta foto me la dedico a mí, que para eso hoy es mi cumpleaños y ya llevo bastante años aguantándome. Porque he vivido y he tomado decisiones y a veces me he equivocado...
Y también a todos los que tienen la desgracia de aguantarme día a día, como por ejemplo mi familia y mis amigos.
Necesariamente la fotografía ha de verse en grande y escucharse al mismo tiempo My Way de mi adorado Frank S.

GOM was nice enough to be my guinea pig for this little treat. I didn't expect it to yield my favorite shot for the entire day, though.
ありがとう GOM!
Shot during the 27 Sept. 2008 FTPS meet/shoot in Ginza, Tokyo.
A shot of me shooting GOM in a similar shot (by jamesjustin - great guy).

Today was a little different as a colleague, who is also a keen photographer, e-mailed me to say she had brought her camera in was I going out at lunch so a quick wander around the site brought us to this little VW Van.
I had actually seen it pulling in this morning and had thought 'ooo now that would make a good subject' and hadn't realised it until we stumbled across it that it belonged to a member of staff.
So here we go Day 11 !
Thank you so much for all the faves and comments..... I have my first Explore yey :o)

#175, 8-12-07. this second image made Explore in the same day - does that happen often?
Developed as a long-range exploration vessel sized between its more famous stablemates the LL928 and LL924, the LL926 Cosmos Explorer ended up having less in the way of cargo space in the rear compartment, only able to fit the smallest design of rover available to the Lagrange-Lunacorp designers. Most of the extra space was taken up with fuel storage and crew supplies, giving the Cosmos Explorer the longest unsupplied range of the three vessels.
The lack of cargo capacity made the Cosmos Explorer less versatile than either of the other early LL-type explorer ships, however, and many planetary fleets of the inner system bought only a few of the craft. In the far reaches of the Uranian and Neptunian leagues and the Kuiper Belt Alliance, however, these ultra-long-range craft really came into their own.

So I was planning to build a sleekened, updated version of the old LL924 Space Transporter, but I think this ended up a bit bigger than that venerable beauty. Not quite up to the LL928, but that might actually be within reach now. Amazing thought.
A quiet Sunday morning at Larkrigg (bridge 180) near Kendal on the dry northern reaches of the Lancaster canal. I was there for about an hour before the tow-boat circus turned up. I was a bit worried at one point, if someone was to asked me what I was waiting for, my reply of "a boat" might have caused some concern. I did think that if I added that Captain Jack Sparrow will be in command, the police would soon arrive! The larch trees on the left were planted by the canal company, very forward thinking of them, as their boats used Larch.

couldn't decide which one to post so put them both up. I love how they change once converted yet how it has that golden glow in color

Looe "deep water inlet" is a small coastal town, fishing port and civil parish in south-east Cornwall, England, with a population of 5,280 at the 2011 census.
Looe is 20 miles (32 km) west of Plymouth and seven miles (11 km) south of Liskeard, divided in two by the River Looe, East Looe and West Looe being connected by a bridge. Looe developed as two separate towns each with MPs and its own mayor.
The town centres around a small harbour and along the steep-sided valley of the River Looe which flows between East and West Looe to the sea beside a sandy beach. Offshore to the west, opposite the stonier Hannafore Beach, lies Looe Island.
Yep...it's THAT truck...AGAIN. ;-p

Homeward bound plays in my head every time I'm on the passenger side of my best friend's ride (hah!).
"Tonight I'll sing my songs again."
Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving! I'm forever thankful to have made many friends and acquaintances on Flickr, without whose encouraging words and inspiring works, I would've gotten bored a long time ago.
