Martonvásár, back of Brunszvik Mansion.
Built from 1773 to 1775, the baroque mansion was reconstructed in the early 1870's in neo-gothic style.The earliest record of Martonvásár appears in some charters in 1270. After the Turkish occupation, the Brunszvik family became owners of the settlement, built their mansion here and established a booming economy. The landscaped parkland around their mansion is still among the most beautiful in Hungary.
Outstanding cultural memories are attached to the Martonvásár mansion, the Beethoven Memorial Museum, and its surrounding park. In the early years of the 19th century Ludwig van Beethoven visited Martonvásár on a number of occasions due to his friendship with the music-loving Brunszvik family, who owned the estate. A number of his works, including the Appassionata Sonata, were dedicated to members of the family, who were inspired interpreters of his music. The Beethoven concerts held in the park since 1958, generally on three occasions each summer, are now a national event. The home of these concerts is an open-air theatre on an island in the lake. Talented musicians from Hungary and abroad are accompanied at these memorable concerts by the National Philharmonic Orchestra.

I remember my mom always going to Hallmark, you could do all your shopping for a gift at this store. They have very cute items and most everything I like there. But times have changed I think. It is sad to me that Hallmark's are going out of business. It reminds me of simpler and kinder times. Maybe not realistically, but to me. I was innocent and sheltered, and my parents weren't rich, but I was fortunate to live in a wonderful house in a rich neighborhood. However, I thought everyone lived that way, and when I got out on my own in my early 20s, I quickly found out it isn't that way.
And I remember doing my own Christmas shopping at Hallmark in the 80s/90s, and also looking for the wooden plaques with a picture on the front with poem/words. I have kept alot of these things, but I have a hard time getting rid of things. So these days I would rather just take a picture of things like this that I like.
I don't go to the mall that often. I took my son and his friend there over the weekend and while they went their way I went mine. I like a lot of the things in the windows, but it doesn't mean I have to have them. I like the cute animals from Build-A-Bear, which reminds me of when I took my kids there when they were little. I have bittersweet memories of that. Other windows I just liked, I don't know why. But it made me think a lot about the 80s and 90s, my mom always would shop at Sears or JC Penney's or Joslins. I went into Macy's and it reminded me alot of those stores from that era. I miss those times.

Seen with the Krimml Falls in the background is one of two Luxuria specification Irizar i8s that Ridleys Coaches of Warwick have. Taken whilst on the Little Trains of Austria tour.
Ridleys’ YP23 XHD is seen on Gerlos Strabe whilst giving passengers time to explore the local area. It is one of two coaches new in 2023 for use on Leger Holidays Luxuria work. I was lucky to be allocated this brand new and even collected it from the Irizar dealership in Worksop. YP23XHD was collected on June 16th 2023. It is a DAF Integral with Irizar i8 bodywork.

Pilot vessel.
April 2016, River Elbe, Germany.
This type of vessel has a hull shape designated as a SWASH (Small Waterplane Area Single Hull) with a torpedo-shaped float located centrally underneath the hull. The boat’s propulsion system is also located in this tube.
Built in 2014 by Abeking and Rasmussen, Lemwerder, Germany (6494).
Unknown tonnages.
Vessel has a 20.42m monohull, SWASH-design, with two trimaran-type stabilising outriggers.
12.3m wide, and a 3.1m depth.
Carries up to eight service personnel and a crew of two.
