This isn't usualy a subject I'd typically work on myself, but have always enjoyed. I was inspired and impressed with the work I've seen online, and decided it would be fun to try something new. The result is nothing original, but a mix of online tutorials thrown together haphazardly into an image. The piece is as much about my own exploration in art, as it is about the scientific kind. This storyboard was drawn over two sides of A4 paper with HB pencil and marker pens. This piece was drawn very quickly with the aim to illustrate and explore the interaction between the characters through the exploration of narrative. The piece shows the efforts of a grumpy octopus, in which he tries to drive a visitor out of the house, while his owner remains oblivious to his devious and selfish actions- causing much frustration to the girl visiting.
