On our first afternoon of community explorations, we visited two small farms in Marcellus: Bair Lane and White Yarrow. Local farmers Randy Ewert and Dale Hasenick showed us their farms, discussing their growing methods and the ways they get their produce to eaters in the community. And we got to harvest some overwintered carrots!

Les conditions de sécurité sont rudimentaires et l'entretien des infrastructures est de la responsabilité des coopératives. La dynamite est utilisée sans nécessairement se soucier du danger qu'elle peut représenter pour les autres mineurs travaillant dans la mine.
The safety conditions are very basics and the maintenance of the infrastructures is the responsibility of the cooperatives.

Photos from urbexing the remains of Osgodby Army Training Camp, Lincolnshire.
This is the site of the Second World War forward army training camp at Osgodby Moor. It is located between the south side of the Osgodby Low Road on the West side of the A46 and north of the A1103.
Despite some 60 accommodation huts of the half round Nissen Type being identified throughout the existing woodland, the only surviving feature is a brick and asbestos building which was used as the radio station for that base. After the second world war, it later became a residence for the wood keeper, becoming derelict after he was forced to leave when the land owner would not allow him to buy it.
