Preparations are underway to lift the Orion Service Module Umbilical (OSMU) up for installation on the mobile launcher tower at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The mobile launcher tower will be equipped with a number of lines, called umbilicals, that will connect to the Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft for Exploration Mission-1 (EM-1). The OSMU will be located high on the mobile launcher tower and, prior to launch, will transfer liquid coolant for the electronics and air for the Environmental Control System to the Orion service module that houses these critical systems to support the spacecraft. During a "Powering Exploration Mission-1" ceremony in the Neil Armstrong Operations and Checkout Building high bay at NASA's Kennedy Space Center on Nov. 16, 2018, Amy Marasia, Orion Crew Module assembly lead for Exploration Mission-1 (EM-1), explains the next steps in processing Orion and the European Service Module (ESM). The event was held to mark a major milestone, the arrival of the European Service Module for Orion's Exploration Mission-1. The service module, built by the European Space Agency, will supply the main propulsion system and power to the Orion spacecraft during EM-1, a mission to the Moon. The ESM also will house air and water for astronauts on future missions. EM-1 will be an uncrewed flight test that will provide a foundation for human deep space exploration to destinations beyond Earth orbit. We (Leszek and me) would like to give you a preview you a project on which we have been working since some time. Visiting different abandoned places and taking photos of them is one thing but filming them, in this specific way is something different. We have seen a lot of different movies made with hand held cameras – but … their quality is in question.
What we would like to stress it is not an urban exploration project. We just used the space. What we were most interested in was the work of the camera, right crops, best compositions, best quality of the images and afterwards the right video editing. Moreover we would call it an experiment project in which we were testing DIY slider made by Leszek.
By creating this project we wanted also to share some abandoned, decaying space mostly focusing on photographic/artistic point of view. We are more photographers than explorers really…
In the end I would like to give grate thanks to Michał and Krzysztof for support and motivation. Without them preparing something like this probably wouldn’t be possible.

Got an older Intel CPU die from ebay to look at under the microscope. Grinding/dissolving to expose a die from a CPU was too much trouble, so I found someone selling these that never made it to being packaged.

Jacobs technicians, on the Test and Operations Support Contract, check bolt fittings as they practice crane operations with an inert booster rocket segment in the Rotation, Processing and Surge Facility on June 22, 2018, at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Dual cranes are being used to move the segment from vertical to horizontal, a maneuver known as a "breakover rotation." As part of routine processing operations for the agency's Space Launch System (SS) rocket, the RPSF team will receive all of the solid rocket fuel segments for inspection and preparation prior to transporting them to the Vehicle Assembly Building for stacking on the mobile launcher.
