What luck! This church was almost locked. As I wandered round to the door it was now being locked by 'Frank' a husband of a keyholder. He had just finished doing some repairs and from the look on his face was eager to get home and have a cuppa! After explaining that I was a normal person on a quest to visit and photograph all the Suffolk Churches he placed the key back in the lock and allowed me in. I must admit that he did follow me round, hence my pictures are a bit 'broad' I should of liked longer to have a good old look round, but he did mention that there had been a burglary. I shan't protest as at least I got in. I just hope that one day when I come to re-visit some of these churches that people will have seen my work and realise that I am serious about my hobby and not after the silver, brass or wanting to scale the tower and pinch the lead! As for the church, it has a feel of town rather than country (that may make sense to some!) The chancel has a dark gloomy feel to it, though when lit by flash it becomes a different thing altogether.
