Experiment, just showing the negative image. What do you think it is ? Have a guess ;-))

Lily bud in a bouquet from the market. Eight focus stacked captures in artificial light. Guaranteed to brighten another foggy day.

Hope you are enjoying the weekend.

Take care and stay safe. Thanks for stopping by and for all of your support -- I deeply appreciate it.

Two different shots from the same viewpoint with different focus point and merged together. In this instance the middle ground is indirfferent to the photo and was accidentally on purpose left out of focus. Next time I'll try blending in photoshop

Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️❤️❤️

I want to clarify something in this photo, this is a method of lens reversed, I attach a reversed 50mm lens to one 85mm prime lens. In This set-up, the 85mm lens is called the primary lens and the lens reversed the secondary lens. "This does not understand by the camera" but still makes the picture, that gives a reading of 105mm when in fact the experiment is crazy but goes well.

Wanted to see if I could get some action with camera and lens. To show card movement, that is. Need a card shark and a whole lot more practice to show movement at this table. And to set up a better light or two.

Just for fun.

lights, colours, glass, water, patience

Quick piece in the rain..Trying more with this idea, not fully happy, dont like the splats on the lettering, but next time huh...

Playing with an old image.

Experimenting with ICM (Intentional Camera Movement)

My first upload to Flickr/SmugMug in two weeks since all of my problems began. My laptop still unavailable to me since they aren’t recognizing and approving any new PW’s. I was finally successful in uploading from my mobile device :)

Ludwigslust Castle, my first experiment with the glass globe

experimenting with light

and so here I am again, foisting my experiments on unsuspecting flickr'ers

;~)

Edit one

just could not make up my mind which one I liked better

not even sure I like either .....

LOL

Be back later!

A pair of sharply painted AVR GP40-3's lead job AVR-3 past the former US Bureau of Mines power plant south of Bruceton, PA on the ex B&O "Pike." This location was historically known as Experiment after the Bureau's experimental coal mine once located here.

....und ganz herzliche Geburtstagswünsche. Alles Liebe und Gute !

Und dann verabschiede ich mich gleich auch noch von allen Flickr -Freunde für 10 Tage.

Just an experiment, liked the idea :-)

I experimented with color shift styles. What is special is that the white colors remained white and only the yellow colors (from the original photo) changed into other beautiful colors. Many colorful variants are possible, but let's get back to reality and finish this experiment.

How much is acceptable? The search for a border between a taken photograph and free, impulsive edited picture.

Ein kleiner Plastiklöffel und eine Platikmurmel zwischen zwei Polarisationsfiltern fotografiert. Dadurch werden Spannungen im Material durch bunte Farben sichtbar.

A small plastic spoon and a plastic marble photographed between two polarizing filters. This makes tensions in the material visible through bright colors.

experimented and tried with Gimp for the first time

I shot the feathers falling without the model in the background, but with same lighting and all.

They still look like cut from paper - frustrating.

I think I need to get an extra pair of hands for the shoot next time so I can get all in one go.

panasonic lumix tz70

this morning i continued to experiment with my new camera. i used the panoramic scene setting for this photo. it's a lovely camera to hold and the weight all ok ... but practise, practise, practise

i had been waiting for a panasonic lumix tz90 but there is a global shortage of point and shoot cameras petapixel.com/2021/10/15/the-camera-industry-is-trapped-d... i was on various waiting lists but no stockist had any idea when it would be available. a panasonic lumix tz70 was in stock last week www.lcegroup.co.uk/New-Equipment-Home/ i bought it rather than have a possible prolonged frustrating wait for the tz90

for many years my garden was a shrubbery flic.kr/p/Lhv9ag which i loved. a picket fence covered in an ivy hedge coming down in a storm meant that over time changes had to happen flic.kr/p/2mn2x8a i'll be glad when the trellis is covered in honeysuckle and jasmine. that's the plan ...

www.flickr.com/groups/gardening_is_my_hobby/ helpful for ideas. thank you for sharing

Experiments on rainy days ☺

Dedicated to Mr. Mark Miller because he made me work on this photo.....! ☺

Experiment.......................................

I used to have a great view of the sunset from my balcony, but after moving homes I need to actually get out of the house in order to take decent photos of the sunset. This has quickly become my favorite spot... 10 minutes by bike from my home (so I really can't complain :-)).

I've been experimenting with some long exposure shots at the lake, but the time in which the sunset is brightly colourful is a bit short for actually changing the settings, plus the darkness doesn't really help.

Practice will hopefully help, until then I'll keep posting some more imperfect shots.

Have a great weekend everybody!

I've not shot into the evening sun so directly before, but I did want to see if I could capture the hay and dust stirred up by our neighbor's tractor.

My husband walked down the lane after I began, and weighed in today: he would have shot a more perpendicular angle with fewer or no sun flares, yet still capturing the light. I mention this so that you'll know I'm open to suggestions. (Previous photo link in first comment.)
