Mia Hsieh, is Taiwanese and it's the tale of a girl who loves the spirit of a lake and walks into it, never to return.

Shadow Pavilion is a temporary experimental installation by U-M Taubman College professor Karl Daubmann in collaboration with John Marshall. The project is an extension from a graduate studio course. It utilizes computer-generated architectural forms inspired by organic models to design site-specific structures that maximize utility while minimizing material and waste. This botanical-inspired structure was designed for this overlook on the Sam Graham Trees Trail. It frames the vista for visitors while providing both shade and a visual destination that orients people to the view point. Construction was assisted by graduate students Ngoc Thy Phan and Alex Timmer with construction volunteers Craig Borum, Peggy Chong, Jen Maigret, Jessica Mattson, Katie Santer, Dwight Song and Alex Watanabe. This project was made possible by a Research-through-Making grant from Taubman College at the University of Michigan and the U-M Matthaei Botanical Gardens and Nichols Arboretum.
This piece commemorates the imprisonment of Wolverhampton suffragette, Emma Sproson. She spent her childhood in an area called "Daisy Bank" and so I have chosen a daisy as her symbol.
This is a close up view to show the details of the resin background.
This was an experimental piece and I hope to show some others as soon as they are dry!

(See link) Norfolk Southern Railway cuts Knoxville operation
Norfolk Southern Railway is dissolving its Central Division headquarters, affecting about 50 local jobs, the company announced recently. “The Central Division, which was based in Knoxville, those operations are going to be combined with the operations of three other divisions,” said Susan Terpay, Norfolk Southern director of public relations for Tennessee and 12 other states.
That means the roughly 250 workers who remain at Knoxville’s rail yard will be reassigned to report the divisions based in Birmingham, Alabama, Decatur, Illinois, and Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The consolidation will take place Nov. 1. The move will end train dispatching from Knoxville, but the yard will continue to be a hub for through-train operations, according to a company news release. The jobs remain, it’s just that the authority for them will go to a different division.

So... I wont be getting to see the trains anymore at the train yard. Unless they are passing thru, & there have been VERY few, & they arent stopping, just traveling thru. :( :( :(
These train graffiti pictures were just experimental. The train was moving. So the pictures were crappy, not worth adding to groups. Moving trains wont be something I will be pursuing :(

Come Organisation (1980)
Sophomore album from the British noise masters. Overall, not as harsh and extreme as later works, but still a good listen for those into the more 80's industrial sound. This is the 1st press limited to 850 copies.
The track "Birthdeath Experience" is 3 minutes of silence. I don't know how I feel about that. I get it from an art perspective, but would it be true silence? Thoughts anyone?
It was suggested to me by a friend to try out the "clone commander waist cape" for marine leg armor.

Doing some lighting experiment just now. I don't have any speedlight and I couldn't find any flashlight. What I did was, I used my w800i, turn on the light mode and light up the back of the model. And here is the result.
