Students in Professor Fieberg’s course CHE 464 Chemical Analysis of Modern Paintings Investigated the materials used to create Modernist Paintings and how science and technology influenced some of the developments within modern art movements. The students practiced using instrumental methods such as x‐ray fluorescence, ultraviolet‐visible spectroscopy, infrared spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, and gas chromatography‐mass spectrometry during a early trip to JVAC before leaving on a multi-day trip to Chicago and Indianapolis art galleries.
LIU Global Comparative Religion and Culture Program students had the opportunity to visit the ancient Dara necropolis or “city of the dead.” This ancient burial place dates back to around 600 C.E. It was used for burials from the 5th century continuing to the 14th century.

MASA is currently making preparations for the launch of Clementine, their newest supersonic sounding rocket. If all goes according to plan, Clementine will launch in the summer of 2023.

26 IIT Kanpur Students participated in 5 Days /4 Nights in March 2009Zice Rafting Expedition organized by Zice Holidays - Your Offbeat . Adventure and Learning Partner.
The rafting expedition covered 110 Kms of strenuous paddling down River Alaknanda and Ganges. The expedition lasted for 5 Days /4 Nights covering major Rapids. Rafting started from Srinagar and ended in Shivpuri. Expedition covered activities like White water Rafting, Rescue Procedures, Survival Techniques , Disaster Management,Tent Pitching, Rationing ,Cooking ,Mobile Camping , Clean Ship, Kayaking, Treks, Making Camp fires.
These are Life Charts that kids use to interact with an educational exhibit. These are one of many components that were designed and fabricated for this exhibit.
