When I was walking through Manchester, I saw these birds pearched on the wall. They must have migrated.
The Ajunta Caves are located outside of Aurangabad, India. We visited them in Nov 2010.
Some of the earliest caves date to the 2nd century BC.
The Ajunta Caves were abandoned and lost. In April 1819 John Smith a British Officer rediscovered them while hunting tigers. He left his name and the date of discovery on the wall of cave number 9.
