The Kenya Orchid Society have their annual Orchid SHow in Nairobi.

Having nothing better to do i lugged my camera along with me to this years exhibition and was pleasently surprised with the number of different types of Orchids on display.

Seen above is a Paph Wazdii in full bloom.

Hopefully over the next couple of weeks i shall posting more of the Orchids photos from the exhibition.

I have very few things from other countries. What I do have are: Two wooden statues from Cuba my sister gave me when she traveled there some years ago. A beautiful blue and white hand made ceramic dish my sister gave Stu and me when we got married. Last but not least a little statue called Chinesca Petatillo. I purchased this from the Albuquerque Museum during our visit last year. It is a piece of Pre-Columbian art and is from Mexico.
