Just sharing a little midday boost from one of my favorite spots to enjoy a beautiful sunrise. This one was photographed just minutes after the last one I posted from this area...see the other one in the comments.

I know there are a lot of misty woodland images around this week, but we dont get the opportunity around here too often, and I bloody love them so hard luck!

Take a deep breath in and even a deeper one out. Lets get out bad energy with the smoke. :)

well, this sure did take an unexpected turn. but alas, winter is the perfect time to experiment. even though ive known ever since i started photography what kind of images i wanted to make, i dont think there is any harm in letting inspiration go where it wants, even if that strays from the typical. i dont want to be an artist who gets stuck in a box that ive made for myself. sometimes i just want to create without a care in the world (plus i didnt like my last photo all that much, hehe).

initially, this was supposed to be a photo of kenzie looking rather lion-like, and full of power. but the image was looking really bland so i decided to play. and apparently my love of water prevails - even when everything outside is frozen. :P i just started to love how kenzies hair really looked like it was flowing underwater, and her lashes began to remind me of coral ( also, i accidentally glued kenzies eyes shut with those lashes - epic FAIL. but kenzie is such a sweetie, she took it rather well if i dont say so myself).

today i also went out and met up with a new local photographer, jared, who took some pictures of me! im really excited to see how they turned out.

A Bull Elk with a small exhale as he completes a call to his competitors. It was a great morning to be out.

Candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. There was so much that caught my eye for this shot and a split second to get the capture before the crossing lights changed. The low winter sun created the perfect light - enjoy!

By the way everyone, i wasnt actually in water, its all photoshoped to look like it is ^_^ the concept has been done quite alot now, so i wanted to be different, to not actually do it! but to make it look like i was ^_^

The Basin in Royal National Park is one of my favourite spots for snorkelling. The deepest point is about 7m deep. It's good practice to exhale as you rise to the surface- these bubbles are one breath's worth racing ahead.

don't you wish you could get rid of all the frustration and pain inside you along with the carbon di oxide you spread to the atmosphere every second?
