Army aviators have demonstrated the range and power of the punch their Apache attack helicopters can deliver.
Exercise Talon Gravis has seen 3 Regiment Army Air Corps (3 Regt AAC) launch formations of up to eight Apaches from their base at Wattisham Flying Station in Suffolk to find and strike targets on land and at sea more than 300 miles away.
Flying against simulated enemy air defences, missions have ranged from a daylight attack on shipping in the English Channel off Plymouth to hunting armoured vehicles on Salisbury Plain under the cover of darkness.
The Apaches were replenished at a Forward Arming and Refuelling Point (FARP) - the military equivalent of a Formula 1 pit stop – set up at Keevil airfield on Salisbury Plain.
3 Regt AAC’s role is to provide an aviation deep manoeuvre battlegroup – made up of attack, reconnaissance and transport helicopters - to 3rd (UK) Division, the British Army’s high readiness warfighting division.

Greater Manchester Police, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) and North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) conduct a joint training exercise in Manchester.
The scenario involved emergency services coming under attack while dealing the aftermath of a road traffic collision.
The exercise – one of a series – is intended to ensure the services can work together effectively to deal with dangerous situations.

I was distracted from my window-hunting walk when I spied this urban daredevil ski-jumper perched on the edge of the ramp leading up to the blue window-lined overpass. All of a sudden he jumped from the edge of the ramp onto a pile of snow below. I think I'll stick to photography for my exercise. (and I did manage to capture some windows, too!)
It is known that following Yugoslavia's Wars of Dissolution, the reformed Socialist Republic and the Union of Songun Republics began enriching their ties extensively. The cornerstone of that enhancement has allegedly been military and technological exchange mostly negotiated via backdoor deals that leave practically no paper trail. With that in mind, the precise aims of these negotiations is up in the air; however, given both the Union and Socialist Republic are at odds with the United States and its allies, it is believed that the two are colluding in an effort to force the US into a state of over-extension. Utilizing belligerent behavior and bellicose rhetoric, Yugoslavia and the Songun Republics have paved a way for future regional conflicts to occur in both Eastern Europe and East Asia. Indeed the nature of the Eastern European Wars and joint development of the M-525PL Rod/WS525 Long Dong ASM TELAR has demonstrated as much.
All of the above information gives context to this particular image, whose exact date is presently unknown. It is believed, however, that this photo was taken during Exercise Confident Fury, a combined-arms mission conducted in southeast Asia between the time of the two Eastern European Wars. From briefs issued by the CIA, it has been determined that Confident Fury was a large-scale operation that focused on using hybrid warfare to bog down a technologically superior force. In other words, the Songun Republics and Yugoslavia were imitating attacks against a foe awfully similar to the US.
A key component to resisting the initial wave of advanced foreign attackers involved the deployment of SRBMs to disrupt enemy beachheads and give Yugoslav/Songun armor and infantry a greater amount of time to set up defensive positions and track enemy movements aimed at pushing inland. Hence, in the image before us are two M-650s preparing for launch with an M-210 Rujevit SHORAD offering some anti-air overwatch. Both platforms--the SRBM TEL and SHORAD--are amphibious given they share a chassis, so their mobility is superb and therein allows both to conduct ambush operations with ease. This fact has disturbed many American and Western European analysts and for good reason.

Swedish Army Leopard tanks crossing open ground during Exercise Aurora 23. Sweden has played host to an exercise involving 26,000 personnel from Sweden and various NATO countries. Exercise Aurora 23 was aimed at helping Sweden defend itself in case it was ever to come under attack. The exercise took place throughout Sweden, but primarily in the southern parts of the country and on Gotland.
NATO Allies that took part included Estonia, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Portugal, UK and US.
They trained alongside the Swedish Army, Swedish Navy, Swedish Air Force and Home Guard. Exercise Aurora 23 ran from 17 April to 11 May 2023.

The Royal Victorian Regiment continued their training exercise with their new Grizzly II light armored vehicles. Tanks from the Royal Victorian Lancers also participated to ensure that the two vehicles can work seamlessly in the field.

Today, there are so many condemned inmates, nearly 700, that they are housed in various units throughout the prison. Operating from Joint Base Lewis McChord, and Moses Lake Airfield, they have transported Humvee ambulance variants (pictured) and Stryker Command Vehicles...A Royal Air Force Atlas, Aeromedical Evacuation and Force Protection personnel training with Allies and Partners from over 30 countries on Exercise Mobility Guardian, the largest exercise of its type in the world...Hosted by the US Air Force’s Air Mobility Command, over 50 aircraft and 3000 personnel from over 30 nations gathered at Joint Base Lewis McChord near Seattle for an exercise designed to test and improve how international partners and allies conduct humanitarian relief operations...Security for the airfield was provided by a team of Force Protection specialists led by No 2 Squadron, RAF Regiment supported by RAF Police, reservists from the RAuxAF Regiment and personnel from Australia and Belgium...This was the first time an RAF A400M Atlas has taken part in a major exercise giving personnel the opportunity to experience the aircraft’s capabilities in a realistic operational environment and to train for complex, modern air operations alongside NATO partners, key allies and international partners.

The tall, golden-haired, blue-eyed twin goddesses were modeling the black & gold Braveheat Sword (Cross) simsuit and "Gold 45 Revolver" Gold'N'Virtue swimsuits with the main equation to Moving Dimensions Theory on the swimsuits: dx4/dt=ic. Every photon that hits my Nikon D800e's sensor does it by surfing the fourth expanding dimension, which is moving at c relative to the three spatial dimensions, or dx4/dt=ic!
May the Hero's Journey Mythology Goddess inspire you (as they have inspired me!) along your own artistic journey! Love, love, love the 70-200mm F/2.8 Lens! Holding it up all day, alongside the Sony NEX 6 with the 50mm F/1.8 lens for cool video bokeh which I have mounted under the Nikon D800E camera, is quite the workout! My shoulders have gotten bigger after so many days with six hour shoots in the AM and 3 hour shoots in the PM holding that rig up :). Plus I have to carry all the gear, books, and clothes a few hundred yards up and down the steep cliffs. I count my photography days as two workout days. :) But I love it! Every day presents a puzzle--how to figure out the light, and every model presents a mystery to be unlocked--what are her best angles/poses/actions? Nothing beats the challenge of capturing the natural beauty of a day out there, when the light's dynamic range can change by a factor of ten in a few minutes as the mist burns away to reveal the sun, and then the wind whips up and a fog rolls on in, making it seem like a windy December dusk in July. One must always be mindful of tide, times, and temperatures and work quickly before the cameras get too hot in the sun, or the model gets too cold in the wind, as the tide and rogue waves reach out to grab your equipment/props/clothes and claim them for Poseidon, the god of the sea . Beach photography/video is just like surfing, with the conditions always changing and every wave a bit different. Studio photography is like riding an exercise bike set at level 1 in a gym in front of a TV. And shooting stills and video @ the same time is like Jimmy Page or Slash improvising on his double-necked guitar.
I'm working on a book called "Lone Cowboy Photography: A Humble Hero's Journey into the Art of Photography" about how to shoot it all on your own--stills and video for sports, portraits, and landscapes--with no assistants nor teams. Just you and the goddesses, the heroic athletes, the majestic, epic landscapes, and a copy of Homer's Iliad and Odyssey to teach you of the poetry of epic, heroic beauty. You gotta be ready, son--you gotta be ready for quick-draw showdowns at sunrise and sunset, during the magic hours and in the harsh light at high noon. Every shoot is over the second you finish packing your bags for the day with all your batteries, backup cameras, freshly-cleaned lenses, washed and folded clothes and hoodies, and props and polarizer filters. Every shoot ends the second the prep is over, and the fun, and art, and life of the live performance begins. :) "Every fighter has a plan," said boxing great Mike Tyson, "Until they get hit."
