Held for the first time in 2008 at Sudeley Castle, the event attracted almost 60 balloons and commanded entries from as far afield as Dubai, Italy and USA. The event has light hearted competition for those who wish to compete but the overriding concern of the event is fun.
Described as the event for balloonists by balloonists, the Exclusive Cup retains the grass roots flying feel that helped shape the first event into such a success. Today the event is held in Gloucestershire near the company's headquarters

E hoje, claro, temos mais um holográfico e outro dos raros!
Esse é um dos mais lindos que eu tenho... é holográfico, é magenta, é raro, é chiquésimo!
Paguei bem caro dele, mas valeu cada realzinho investido, ele é perfeito! E tem um brilho e uma durabilidade que são simplesmente excelentes! Esse não descasca rápido como os Layla, ainda bem!
Essa é a segunda vez que eu uso esse esmalte, a primeira, você pode ver AQUI.
Depois de uns dias com ele nas unhas, fiz uma graça e tentei carimbar. Não ficou muito bom, mas eu fotografei mesmo assim. Esse ano vou treinar mais trabalhar com os carimbos, juro juradinho!
Usei uma estampa da placa DRK-A e o esmalte bronze da La Femme. Finalizei com o extrabrilho da Risqué, que não tirou a holografia do DS Exclusive e não borrou o carimbo!

For about a week or so a Volvo B7TL Wright Eclipse Gemini has been sat hidden at the back of the Blackburn Intack depot in a 2-tone grey livery, with many people wondering if it was a new version of the Witchway livery.... but now the bus in question has been delivered to the York depot, which is actually a former Witchway vehicle in the shape of PO55 PYL. The new livery is branded as "Pride of the North" and is a new version of the 'BVD' livery redone in the current 'chunk' livery style being adopted across the Transdev Blazefield network having been developed by Ray Stenning's Best Impressions / Creating Desire outfit.... The intention is for this livery to be applied to buses in a 'float fleet' which can be sent to any depot as and when operationally required, avoiding the situation of an area having a bus running around in the livery of a different depot's operations (either devoid of branding or having some sort of 'on loan' description being added). If the paint shop manages to get all the current 'float fleet' repainted into this Pride of the North livery then it will bring a much smarter appearance across the board, banning the white livery seen on vehicles such as 1064 and 1092 which get dirty very quickly specially over winter, with the livery style matching current operations which will also reduce passenger confusion. On the offside above the cab window is the description of "Amazing bus companies across Lancashire and Yorkshire" - the Yorkshireman in me wants to say that Yorkshire should be listed first, but I know that Lancashire is only listed first to be alphabetically correct! The rear blank panel on this particular bus is used to promote the Day Tripper and Day Tripper Plus tickets which can be used right across the Blazefield network, the rear panel listing some of the places which are served by the buses.
In York, 2764 is most likely to be used as the Cityzap spare vehicle - though this might pop in an appearance on the 44 route. As I was allowed the opportunity to do so, I decided that for photos it would be a good idea to put up some of the destinations this bus as a double decker is highly unlikely to use in service - such as the 20 service to Monks Cross (the closest route to my house)

The newest bus to be repainted into ConnexionsBuses livery is former Firstgroup Scania L113CRL Wright Axcess Ultralow R452 JSG. Back in the day, this operated 'Superbus' routes with guide wheels attached for the guided bus lanes of Leeds; but here and now it is at Harrogate bus station on its very first day of service with HCT on route X1 for Knaresborough.
PK62VUV is a Neoplan Tourliner N221 C49Ft new to Garnham & McGraffin of Dickleburgh in January 2013, but now with MET. It was working on contract to Lochs and Glens and was on a visit to Moffat Woollen Mill.
A once daily scene at Foxhall Junction, Didcot recorded in March 1989. BR Coal Sector 56014 makes the final approach to the reception roads at Didcot Power Station to deliver another MGR of coal.
