Not a very good image but a fun photograph ...l think! Taken across the road from my flat in Putney, London!
Raining, raining and I felt in need of some sploshing after getting so uptight with the maple flower,

CFB Borden near Barrie Ontario. Winter 1993. The snow that one of these birds kicks up when it lands is insane! We were using two helos on a training ex at the base this weekend.
A team of one of the two student rowing clubs of University Utrecht (this could be either Triton or Orca ) on a late excercise.
Well, it's not so much an excercise in stitching as much as an excercise in trying to find more ways to waste my time.
This is actually 11 crappy low resolution cameraphone pictures stitched together. Went from 12 half-megapixel images to one 1.5 megapixel image with a super wide angle of view. (See what this looked like prior to stitching.)
Took me about an hour because I freehanded the shots and there are parellex errors all over the place.
Since Luna hardly can move when she's feeding the kittens (almost 24/7) we try to keep her busy when she takes a break from being mom.
Most of the time these breaks last just 15 minutes, then she returns to the bench. [if one of the kittens cries she is back in the den in a matter of miliseconds.. okay perhaps a bit longer but not much more]

A Photo a Day - June 24, 2010.
We had a communications excercise this morning involving threats at various venues. Our mission was to establish communications support and interoperability between different agencies including FBI, Homeland Security, ATF, and local police, fire, and bomb units as well as link in the other incident locations. Basically, we give everyone the ability to talk to one another.
One component of the scenario was the requirement of mission critical equipment that needed to be on the scene as soon as possible. That's where me and Ivan got a ride from the US Park Police helicopter: Eagle 2. They picked us up in Gaithersburg and we were at our scene location within 10 minutes.
I LOVE MY JOB!
Our target was FedExField.
This is a great stretch. If you can't grasp your hands, use an excercise band or something you can grab onto.
