Early monring at Llovizna Park, many people come here to excercise before the day heats up and to enjoy the quiet and beauty of the park at this hour. For this photo I took advantage of the compression offered by longer focal distances (I used my longest lens which goes out to 105mm=157,5mm in 35mm equiv) to make the waterfall seem like it's right behind the woman, but truthfully there is a very large distance separating them. Still it almost looks like she could reach out and touch the waterfall!

Some 30 vehicles from different emergency services took part in the day. The drive up the M3 was quite impressive.

Pripyat is the ghost town more or less directly next to the desaster area ("Mandatory Extraction Zone"); 50,000 people used to live there. We were probably one of the last group to be allowed into the buildings; this will be forbidden starting February 2011.
