Hey,
as some of you might know, I am almost done with high school. Currently I am preparing for the final exams, which I’ll have to take on next week. After writing and hopefully successfully completing these exams I will receive the highest German graduation, the Abitur. After that I’ll hopefully attend a university in Düsseldorf or Cologne.
To motivate myself for the exams and to let all of you know what I am doing at the moment, I prepared a little MoC for each exam. After each exam I’ll upload one of them. Here is a little list of the exams and the date of graduation:
April, 29th – German
April, 30th – Biology
May, 5th – English
May, 27th or 28th – Social Science/ Economy
June, 21st - Graduation
Hopefully I’ll get all the exams right.
Greet,
Ordo
PS: A new part of „Uncertain ways“ is almost done, so don’t worry, there will be some not school related MoCs, too ;)

Another very quick (and very simple!) post and run again this week, I'm truly sorry everyone! Reason is explained in last week's photo... now not only do my tests (which I've been trying to pass for the past three years) start this Sunday, but now I have a cold, and taking tests with a cold is never fun!
Skye on the other hand is her smiley self as usual, she's just a huge lovebug!
After my exams are over I'll be able to spend more time with little Skye, take better pictures and be more active in the group! Hope everyone has had a fantastic week! :)

Today’s exam was English. The exam was quite nice, since the text we had to analyse was by the same author as a text I analysed for practice. I was kind of surprised that, when I had finished the given task, I had more than an hour left. After checking again for some spelling mistakes, I finally haned the text in about one hour before the end of the exam. I assume the others were quite shocked. One even commented with „Are you crazy ?“. However I think it went well and the mark I’ll get will be okay.
As for the MoC, I though about what to build for the English exam for quite some time and finally figured that I mostly use the English language for communicating on the internet. So I built a computer and added the USAs flag, so it is connected to English. Actually, I wanted to build the Union Jack aswell, but it was not possible at that size. USA flag design inspired by Andrew Somers.
English was my last written exam. The next exam will be the social science/economy oral exam on either May 27th or 28th (the final date has not been revealed, yet).
Thanks for all the support with the written exams ! All the nice comments motivated me a lot !

As a physician who has been studying a lot these days
I thought nothing would be more appropriate than an EYE EXAM on Flickr.
Enjoy !!
Yes this is my eye ..;)
King's College, University of Cambridge. 2/3 "Exam" series. Time to be in the library, not wandering around the college grounds. No, you can't go this way!
After the theory exam yesterday and practical today I am now a qualified Puffing Billy locomotive driver.
Thanks to Graham for doing the assessment and John for firing. Thanks also to the OJTs who have shared their knowledge and experience during my time as trainee.

Essa has received a new book and is happily devouring it instead of focusing on her studies. Sometimes everyone needs a little bit of a distractions, right? She needs to focus on something other than Leech or the Shade. So a new book wins.

Ugh, sleepless nights, piles of books and notebooks on the tables, thinking of whether you should even bother studying or it's already too late =)
GB Railfreight Class 92, 92 014 hauls AC Locomotive Group's 1965-built Class 86/1, 86 101 "Sir William A Stanier FRS" south through Acton Bridge as 0Z66 on the second leg of their long weekend journey from Polmadie to Wembley for both locomotives to undergo A Exams.
The Caledonian Sleeper-liveried engines - which were running 100 Early - moved from Polmadie to Carlisle the previous day (Saturday) then on to Crewe today (Sunday) before finally heading on to Wembley tomorrow via the Monday "Skoda Swap" path (0Z90).
92014 is now set up for Mk5 ETS (1500v versus 900v for classic stock) and has been hauling Mk5 test/training trains for the past four weeks. 86101 - on long-term hire to GB Railfreight from AC Locomotive Group / Electric Traction Limited - has been hauling ECS moves out of Polmadie depot since late November. The 86 (along with the two other ACLG hire-ins) is not compatible with the Mk5s and therefore their four year stint with the Caledonian Sleepers will be ending when the Mk5s are fully rolled-out later in 2019.
