JMT Day 9: A shot I took while stopping for lunch on the banks of Evolution Creek in McClure Meadow.

This was really fun to work on! And I had the pleasure of working with Taylor, such a sweetheart and fellow little monster <3

They're all around us, textures, those lines and patterns, seemingly purposeful, sometimes random.

Look closely in nature and you'll find them everywhere, they draw you in, sometimes they are impossibly perpendicular. Here is an example of textures that at a cursory glance make no sense, how could this monolith possibly form naturally with lines that are virtually opposite those a mere few feet below them. Bry will give you the precise explanation, it'll blow your mind, time scales and natural evolution of the landscape which one can barely comprehend. Nature is awesome.

10 exposures went into this image, 4 for the sky and 6 for the foreground, shot with an h-alpha modified Nikon Z6 and Tamron 35mm f1.4 on a Sky Watcher Star Adventurer tracking mount. Foreground exposures are 2 minutes at f2 and ISO 1600, sky exposures are 2 minutes at f2 and ISO 800.

There are no shortcuts in evolution. -Louis D. Brandeis

So this isn't a normal fashion post, but I think its a neat idea. I'm calling this the "Evolution Of Seven."

I know its bad form to show old photos, a lot of people delete them, hide them, refuse to believe they ever looked like that. I don't, I think its great to look back, and see how much you have progressed, or changed your style. Although my style has stayed relatively the same, my avatar has changed drastically over the few years I've been here. But it took me almost 4 years to look like I do, tinkering around and changing things. I may not be god's gift to women, but I LIKE how I look, and that's whats important.

We often forget how hard we worked and how much money we spent. (Oh god the money we spent)... I say this only because I've noticed an awful lot of bashing lately on other peoples avs, and I can only imagine they feel the same way I do, they like how they look, so leave em be!!!

I guess what I'm saying is, just like in real life, ACCEPT each other n STFU! lol\

Oldest to newest left to right, top to bottom. Check out that system body, rocking the shit outta that! LMAO onward to Aesthetic body, then Adam Mesh, and lastly Signature... I wonder how many more bodies i'll have before I quit SL lol

Boijmans van Beuningen, a museum in Rotterdam, celebrates its 175th birthday. The current building was started in 1928, designed by Ad van der Steur, and modified several times since. This part was designed by Alexander Bodon from 1968.

Since 2019, the museum is closed for extensive restorations, expected to last until 2029.

In a very brief moment, the museum is now open with a temporary exhibition, focusing on the architecture, exhibitions from the past, and dreams for the future.
