Well it's been fun. Too bad this little project didn't get much recognition, but that's just life so I'm not complaining. The next couple of weeks are going to be pretty busy for me, so don't expect (m)any posts. I do have some stuff planned, so stay tuned!

She is the warrior goddess, whose mythology centers around combating evils and demonic forces that threaten peace, prosperity and dharma of the good.

On behalf of several members of the community, I would like to express my shock and disappointment at some of Mr. Brown Pelican's precepts. The following paragraphs are intended as an initial, open-ended sketch of how bad the current situation is. As part of his efforts to gain a mainstream following, Mr. Pelican publishes the Journal of Subhuman Obstructionism. Included alongside articles discussing history, culture, art, religion, and philosophy are endorsements of Mr. Pelican's plans to hinder economic growth and job creation.
There is also the lesser issue that Mr. Pelican's mind has limited horizons. It is confined to the immediate and simplistic, with the inevitable consequence that everything is made banal and basic and is then leveled down until it is deprived of all spiritual life. He's driving under the influence of philistinism. Do you see something wrong with that picture?
Please join me in incorporating these words into our living credo.

You won't hear about this in the media, but Mr. Brown Pelican should be regarded as a bêete noire.
I don't know if Mr. Pelican is consciously and purposely evil or merely randy. I do know, however, that he uses the word "thymolsulphonephthalein" without ever having taken the time to look it up in the dictionary. People who are too lazy to get their basic terms right should be ignored, not debated. On theoretical grounds alone, his statements are so filled with errors that I feel some futility in replying to them.
It would be wrong to imply that Mr. Brown Pelican is involved in some kind of conspiracy to advocate abusive philippics. It would be wrong because his taradiddles are far beyond the conspiracy stage. Not only that, but I sometimes feel like he has forced us into a danse macabre with his meretricious epigrams leading us to the grave. From this anecdotal evidence I would argue that Mr. Pelican can't fool me. I've met spleeny, mudslinging manipulators of the public mind before, so I know that the first lies that Mr. Pelican told us were relatively benign. Still, they have been progressing. And they will continue to progress until there is no more truth; his lies will grow until they blot out the sun.
