Time flies,

After a hot summer, so the cows weren't out much,

It was too hot and too dry.

Now we have wolves in the area. Which means the ladies have to get in on time.

The weather is getting colder, so the grazing season is almost over.

So next year hope the wolves stay away.

Several sheep, cows and a pony have already been attacked and died of their injuries.

A concern for now and the future

I'd rather have them outside, but it's not possible,

autumn is wet and then winter.

so they stay inside until the spring .

Hello everyone! I have had eye surgery and I am not allowed to drive for 2 weeks .... so can not go out for new photos ....... !!! Have a few in the archives that I will post in the meantime!

The UK's favourite bird - with its bright red breast it is familiar throughout the year and especially at Christmas! Males and females look identical, and young birds have no red breast and are spotted with golden brown. Robins sing nearly all year round and despite their cute appearance, they are aggressively territorial and are quick to drive away intruders. They will sing at night next to street lights. (RSPB)

Hey everyone! I'm excited to finally announce I'm back. I'll be having time to log on again, less than before I started the new job but still more than the almost never from the last 5 months, and I'll be back on Flickr too since my office will be complete some time next week. I was walking within the forested section of a park and unexpectedly, I spotted a doe and fawn. The doe took off, but the youngster decided to stay for a moment to size me up. I love unexpected encounters like this!

The other day I was walking along the forest pathway and spotted this dragonfly who was perched right beside the path. I'm happy to have found this male, because I hadn't see the male of this species before. It looks very similar to the Cherry-faced, but as you can see, its face is quite white. The background is the forest.
