The first of several multi-industry gatherings celebrating the countdown to Hispanicize 2013 (April 9-13, 2013) took place in Miami at The Stage Wednesday.
The event brought together Latino bloggers, journalists, advertising and PR professionals, filmmakers and music industry executives.
The purpose of the evening meet up was to preview how different industries can be involved in presenting or speaking at Hispanicize 2013 and to do it in a fun, festive atmosphere that included great networking. As part of this year's gatherings small toys were collected for the New York-based Pa’l Pueblo Holiday Toy Drive, which collects, wraps and delivers gifts to the 500 underserved children in the Bushwick United Headstart Program of New York.
Sponsored by DigiBunch, the new viral video production and distribution service, the event was held in partnership with the Public Relations Society of America, PRODU, Hispanic Market Weekly, Latin Heat and Getty Images Hispanic.

I had such a great time with the Chaldean 148 group ! We met in the afternoon and I instantly caught on to their infectious happiness and warmth. I met heaps of new people again today, and hopefully these photos will find them.
What topped it off was an impromptu "Gi-o-van-ni" chant ! Thanks for an awesome experience!
