The College & Graduate School of Art and the University Libraries' Department of Special Collections gathered Thursday, March 1, to celebrate the work of Jack Unruh. Unruh has gifted more than 2,500 originals, preparatory drawings, and tear sheets to the Modern Graphic History Library, which is comprised of original art and printed material from many fields of popular American pictorial graphic culture. Le battaglie di Giorgio Amendola hanno ancora una loro attualità, a partire dall’intransigenza morale nei confronti della gestione della cosa pubblica. la rivoluzione antifascista come «scelta di vita», lo sviluppo del Mezzogiorno, il Partito unico della sinistra, il futuro dell’Europa, la funzione delle classi dirigenti nel futuro del Paese e dei giovani sono tutti temi su cui la parola e l’esempio di Giorgio Amendola possono insegnarci ancora molto.

This year was the biggest Fresh Event in the College's history, kicking off the new academic year in style. With students able to sign up for many enrichment activities, take part in sporting challenges like Bokwa and Boxercise, get information and advice from the 30-plus exhibitors, and of course not to mention grab armfuls of freebies too.

Second stage of the public mural art project started in 2008 by artist Rigel Sauri and in progress now in the beautiful fishing village of Telchac Puerto in Yucatan Mexico. New murals by legendary graffiti artist and muralist from Mexico city and now living and working in Houston, Fidel Ordonez aka Uneone, Jim Grafsgaard from Minneapolis based bright blue earth studio and artist Nini Torre from Merida, Yucatan, Mexico. Event Horizon, an ambitious urban artwork by Antony Gormley featuring around 30 sculptural casts of himself on rooftops and public always across central London, subtly punctuating the city skyline. Spanning outwards from The Hayward, all the figures face towards the gallery’s three sculpture terraces, which form the main viewing platforms for the project as a whole.
