Another brilliant day out ... this time with Jeff - Terry and Trevor up at the Black Country Living Museum WWII event.
My thanks to everyone who very kindly posed for me on the day.
This spill has such speed and force behind it. It's like and explosion. The surface of the road was slightly wet and very dark, so the milk is vibrant. The carton still being there is also wonderful. Usually this sort of evidence is pointedly absent from the scene.

BOX 13 ArtSpace is pleased to present four exhibitions opening August 14, 2021. In the Front BOX, John Forse’s solo exhibition Electroanxiety consists of paintings and collage that merge digital media, LED lights, and humor to explore social, political, and online culture. In the Back BOX, Katherine Fields presents Scratch & Sniff, a solo exhibition of works that combine images of nude women, photographic backgrounds, and synthetic scents to subvert exploitations and push the boundaries of the way we experience art. In the Window BOX, Adrienne Duncan presents New Works, a series of mystical and vibrant paintings that take advantage of the natural light of the window space. In the Upstairs BOX, Las Girls Collective (Daniela Antelo and Brenda Cruz-Wolf) present Landscapes of Feet with Material, a mixed media installation meant to distort the viewer’s reality and question new relationships of landscape and body.
*Please Note* - an Opening Reception will not be held. The exhibitions will be on view to the public on Saturdays from 1 - 5PM from August 14 - October 2, 2021.
All visitors to BOX 13 are required to wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth at all times.
All visitors must practice social distancing
Visitors will be asked to fill out a short survey and use hand sanitizer before being permitted to enter
Capacity is limited to 15 visitors in the building at any one time, and only the downstairs gallery spaces will be accessible
Exhibition checklists will be available digitally by URL and QR code
A photo documentary of the events happened during the Paraasakthi Maariamman kovil festival (பராசக்தி மாரியம்மன் கோவில் திருவிழா). The event is celebrated on the tamil month of Panguni (பங்குனி) and the day is celebrated as Panguni pongal (பங்குனி பொங்கல்).

This is an event that is held every year in cities across the world. At the same time groups across the world board the underground/tube/subway trains and remove their trousers/skirts ONLY. They then ride the trains for an hour on different lines behaving as if there is nothing wrong. This is all done for fun and everyone involved behaves in a proper manner - just without their lower outer garments.
More from our friend Jenny's suitcase full of memorabilia belonging to Ann Spencer an artist who was related to the Duke of Devonshire.
