Another day of recuperation in which I didn't do an awful lot.
Sue got some rather interesting little purple flowers which I went out to photograph, and whilst there too this shot of the falling sun as well.
I think this one turned out a little better, so the purple flowers live to see another day.
This is in Pensacola, but the church and the light make me think of NM...

The eveninglight makes the forest look a bit different than in the daytime.

This is the time of year to see the church from the ringroad, before the leaves fill the trees. Old and new, basically a Norman Church with the rooves of the modern Rose Hill estate to the right.
On the way to Delisle yesterday evening I took this picture from the car window. Even though its facing north the light was colourful.
After the storms, waves completely cover the fish ladder on the Sacramento River in Redding, California.
These Coral Bells are in my mom's garden, they're such a dainty little flower but quite beautiful.
Today was a scorcher of a day, hot and humid... definitely a pool day. The pool was much warmer, 80 degrees, nicer than the 73 degrees last week. Late this afternoon we had a huge thunderstorm and downpour. It's amazing how sudden it moved in and how dark it got...I love thunderstorms.
