Gestern an der Ostsee

Looking forward to warm summer evenings :)

This rose grows over a pergola in my garden and is one of my favourite sights in the garden at this time of year.

Thanks for all the lovely comments and favs on yesterday's fluffy robin :)

24.07.2023 The day started cloudy with rain during the morning but gradually improved during the afternoon ending with this Sunset at 20.59hrs The cloud overhead looked threatening but produced only a light shower as it passed over me at the same time this shot was taken.

Sunset @ 18:14hrs 24.03.21

A small flock of very inquisitive sheep watched as I took a panoramic shot of the sun setting over the Warwickshire countryside near Wappenbury woods which is on the right of this shot. 5 handheld Lscape images stitched in PS.

A very slight ripple on the water allows for a reasonable reflection of the setting sunlight at Bubbenhall Meadows Nature Reserve Warwickshire @ 16;34hrs on the 12.01.2022

A late evening stroll as the sun drops below the horizon.

A slight breeze has made the high clouds or perhaps aircraft vapour trails drift across the sky as the sun drops down to the horizon.

The boathouse, looking towards the road between Barnsley and Wakefield. Taken after a beautifully sunny day with a lovely clear and cloudless sky. I loved how the setting sun bathed the building in a golden light.

Sundown @ 17.39hrs on the last evening of British summertime 29.10.2022 All over in a couple of minutes. In fact I probably missed the best of it!

The end of a day is the beginning of a night.

Yet another visit to my local woods. This time as the sun was setting!

Sundown on the 16/10/2021 at 1820hrs

A very elegant horse and rider added the finishing touch to this image.

A hint of what was to come.

The sun had gone below a bank of cloud on the horizon to the right of this image hence the brighter sky but it was casting colour over the high cloud above which was streaming from North and heading South. taken in two shots and stitched together in Photoshop using my manual focus 15mm f4 Iaowa wide angle macro lens.

After sundown colour in the high clouds

Yet another visit to my local woods. This time as the sun was setting!

Zu den wichtigsten und größten Tierarten im Schutzgebiet gehören Spitzmaulnashorn, Warzenschwein, Nyala, Suni und Duiker.

Pirschfahrt auf holprigen Wegen am frühen Morgen.

These were the clouds streaming in on a high wind from the North just after sundown. There were no clouds in the West at all apart from the bank of cloud along the horizon which the sun had dropped below leaving a totally clear, blue sky to the left.

A panoramic view over the fields near Wappenbury wood as the sun begins to drop toward the incoming bank of cloud. Image taken on 03.11.2022 Actual time 15:33hrs as I forgot to change the clock on my camera.

Bored the other night, I took myself to the seaside to try and get some lovely shots of the sunset and then some more of the lighthouse shining its light over the sea. Thing is, it's over a two hour drive away so I missed most of the sunset and I forgot my tripod so I couldn't do anything once the light had faded!

I did manage to get three usable shots though. I liked this because of the grasses in the foreground and the calm sea in the background.
