Parts of George Lucas' Star Wars movies were filmed in the deserts of Tunisia; and many of these locations can still be visited today. Most Espa is one such site.
Tunisia's vast deserts and curious dwellings (dug out and carved underground) made it the ideal locale for Star Wars, along with a host of other Hollywood films. For all you movie buffs - especially Star Wars fans - this is the place to go.
