This is what my my piece is about. I intended to use flowers as mistakes, because like flowers, mistakes are formed naturally and spontaneously. In this piece, I used paper mache on my old dolls to create the body and created its supportive skeleton with wire.

El tiempo atrás es lo que acaba determinando a las personas, si una persona nos ha tratado mal ya desconfiamos de los demás como si todas fuesen iguales. Todos cometemos errores en el pasado muchas personas dejan de disfrutar su día a día , de soñar , de proyectar un posible buen futuro sólo por una mala experiencia del pasado , por una pérdida, un error. He cometido errores no de los imperdonable pero he aprendido y tengo claro que ya no voy a desperdiciar mi día ni voy a dejar de sonreir por un simple error del pasado que en vez de hecharme más abajo me ayuda para seguir más arriba.

... Quizás mi problema no es el hecho de cuanto las quiero,
de cuanto las amo...
El error está en preocuparme demasiado por no perderlas,
por no verlas caer en otros brazos,
en lugar de preocuparme por lo más importante,
desmostrarles cuanto las amo...
El otro día leí una frase escrita en uno de
tantos recuerdos que siempre conservo.
La frase era la siguiente:
"No te desintereses por mi",
y más abajo añadió un "Te quiero amor".
Yo no me daba cuenta.
Ni tan siquiera había leído esa nota.
Así se aprende, tropezando una vez tras otra,
descubriendo los errores y tratando de ponerles solución....

A few weeks ago I found an old journal. It was from a particularly hard time in my life and as I read through it I was shocked by how much I had forgotten. I can’t help but be thankful that I have forgotten the details of many of those moments. While I remember the feelings and lessons I learned I have no need to be overwhelmed by old wounds that have long since healed.
