A few weeks ago I found an old journal. It was from a particularly hard time in my life and as I read through it I was shocked by how much I had forgotten. I can’t help but be thankful that I have forgotten the details of many of those moments. While I remember the feelings and lessons I learned I have no need to be overwhelmed by old wounds that have long since healed.
