Damn DVDs, 3 failed to burn.. so I decided to give them a better use =P
I headed over to the beach after work on Tuesday because the sky was looking interesting. I pulled out my camera just before this moment and I got an message on my Canon screen that said "Error 20." I couldn't get it to take a picture and I was so frustrated. This is an unedited photo with my iPhone. $470 later my camera will be ready for pick up on Monday.
An old photograph taken at New Cross Station of *London County Council Tramways (LCC) 'C class' tram No. 257 showing a 'Greenwich via Old Kent Rd' destination board. In the 1970's the station was demolished, being replaced with new buildings, platforms, and rail layout.
No. 257 was an open top car built in 1904 by Brush seating 22/34 running on a Brill 21E truck. Sometime after 1904 it had a Milne Voss or LCC built top cover fitted and sometime after 1907 it had a fully enclosed top deck, but the driver platforms remained open. It was withdrawn from service in 1931 when these trams were replaced by the incoming new HR/2 class.
* The London Passenger Transport Board (LPTB) absorbed the local London tramway companies (such as LCC) in 1933 and in turn was replaced in 1948 by the London Transport Executive (LTE), from 1933 its usual operating name was London Transport (LT).
