An old photograph of Khartoum Tramways railcar No. 3 with trailer.
The photo reverse is initialled by the photographer and negative owner 'ADP' (A. D. Packer - David Packer).
A David Packer photo of Khartoum No. 8 is here:-
and of car No. 3 (b) here:-
🚃 Thanks to Paul Haywood for this information:-
"Fred, car 3 was one of ten double-ended motors with nine matching trailers built for the 1067mm gauge Khartoum Tramways by English Electric/Charles Roberts of Wakefield, circa 1952. They were modelled on the Coronation cars which Roberts were building for Blackpool at that time. The Khartoum tramway closed in 1962 and the cars were dismantled. They were said to be the last first generation trams ever to be exported from the UK.
It is possibly at the Omdurman tram terminus." 🚃
If there are any errors in the above description please let me know. Thanks.
📷 Any photograph I post on Flickr is an original in my possession, nothing is ever copied/downloaded from another location. 📷

Seems this typewriter has as much randomness as I do. Why is the error control on the space bar instead of backspace?
The Starlink failed to start on 9.9volts so rand the engine and selected 225 image that where missed. We post later, maybe at Green Patch or when I get home.

The negative is heavily damaged, mostly due to operator error. I used a 90mm Schneider lens on a Speed Graphic without dipping the front rail out of the way. I had never used a wide angle lens on that camera before, and I didn’t look look carefully enough at the ground glass. I lost about 1/3 of the image to that, and some lens flare in the top right corner. Other than that, it’s not bad. It's tough to get backlit subjects to show shadow detail in film without blowing out the highlights.
Camera: Speed Graphic 4x5
Lens: 90mm Schneider
Film: Ilford Delta 100 developed in Ilfotec HC.

Can technology correct human error, or are imperfections inevitable—whether human or machine-made? This thought-provoking question take centre stage in Error, inviting us to contemplate the unpredictable nature of imperfection and what this might mean in the context of Artificial Intelligence.
A massive, swirling and illuminated disc appears to hover, its surface pulsing with random bursts of light. This trance-like display mirrors the chaos of both the universe and technology, where glitches—like dreams—are unpredictable and chaotic but also hold the potential for creativity, change and new discoveries.
Error reminds us that to err is human, but perhaps those very errors open the door to divine possibility.

I did not look around me for things that seemed out of place. I tried to create an "error" myself by taking unsharp and underexposed images.
A crash assignment means you go to school, get a subject, shoot for max 2 hours, come back to school and show your image(s).
Oh, won't somebody please think of the "peope" (sic)!!!!!
And believe me, if you listen to them, then you'll really get an idea of how docile these know-it-all-know-nothings are.

I have put aside the 7D for quite some time. Was ignoring the Error 01. Thought it was the lens issue till I mounted the EF 50mm f1.8 STM to get the same error. The lens was working on my 5D, so it should be 7D issue.
Amazingly, after the error happened, the 7D failed to work. Only able to take a shot when I switch the lens to MF.
What I could do now is to send it for repair. It's the repair shop that sold me this copy of the 7D after being cheated by a seller (who sold me a copy with fungus on the sensor). Looks like troubles with 7D won't end. This copy I found to have some colour issues. That's why I prefer to shoot monochrome with it. Looking back, with the amount of money spent, I should have got it from EBay Japan in the first place. But such things do happen in life, so I just have to live with it.
There are options that I can take now but I feel more strongly about giving it a 2nd life by using the vintage lens that I already have. It's a pity that Zeiss Milvus ZE 35mm f2 might not work on the 7D anymore and my 55-250mm STM has no camera to use with (maybe my gals' EOS Ms).
I am little delighted to know all's not gone yet with one of my fav M42 lens working. I can't really rank my Porst 55mm f1.4 against Tak 50mm f1.4 or even Fujinon 55mm f1.8. They are all unique and special. I also have CY, Leica R to EOS adapters, so there are still plenty of choices available.

While downloading the photos from South Africa, we had to tackle some sort of error. After using salvaging software, we managed to claim most photos back, except for this one.

no puedes escribir ahora,
el amor que fue, ese ya nunca vuelve.
