The bronze Fontanna Neptuna at the base of Gdańska's Ratusz Głównego Miasta (town hall). Constructed in the years of 1606 through 1613 by Peter Husen, a Flemish sculptor. The legend of the statue says that Goldwasser (Gdansk's vodka) spouted from Neptune's trident one night in 1634 (or at least that was the rumour), and the statue was endangered by a merry crowd, hence the wrought iron barrier that now surrounds the base of the fountain.
Do you prefer this or the selective colour version?
(Sorry for any spelling errors or mistranslations, my Polish is very scant and this was four years ago. I would appreciate any corrections.)

This is a fraction of an XPRO (Elite Chrome) contact sheet doubled with one of the images. I got annoyed with, you know, myself, and pushed to upload something today. Feels nice. Film is always so much more... satisfying than digital. This stream was for a long time exclusively analog. So, I need to shut up and get busy with "the smelly stuff!" ;-}

More supersonic squirrels! It's taken some serious trial and error to get these photos to work, and only achieved by using flash (3 flashes) in rear curtain sync mode. Always nice to try something different :)

A massive, swirling and illuminated disc appears to hover, its surface pulsing with random bursts of light. This trance-like display mirrors the chaos of both the universe and technology, where glitches—like dreams—are unpredictable and chaotic but also hold the potential for creativity, change and new discoveries.
Error reminds us that to err is human, but perhaps those very errors open the door to divine possibility.

I had named them Red-billed Oxpeckers (Buphagus erythrorhynchus), but they are in fact Yellow-billed Oxpeckers (Buphagus africanus) on a Common eland (Taurotragus oryx). In the Red-Billed, their entire bill is red.

My first trial and error in long exposure capturing water flowing. No tripod as my plan for the day was Jervaulex Abbey (love that place), so rocks, stone walls, flowers and other non-moving objects. However, after deciding to take the looooong route home i came upon this little river and decide to try my luck.
So handheld with only rocks and branches to support I gave it my best shot!
An old photograph of Cardiff Corporation Tramways (CCT) tram No. 64 showing '1B - Cathedral Rd' destination indicators. The Cathedral Road and Whitchurch Road service commenced in 1924. In 1934 'Cardiff Corporation Tramways' was renamed 'Cardiff Corporation Transport'.
The photo reverse shows that the negative belongs to the 'A. D. Packer Collection'.
No. 64 was an open top uncanopied car built in 1902 by the Electric Railway & Tramway Carriage Works (ER&TCW) seating 22/30 and running on a Brill 21E maximum traction truck. It was withdrawn from service in 1925 and scrapped, being replaced by a new fully enclosed car carrying the same number.
The parts of the Cardiff tramways systems that had not already been withdrawn or transferred to trolleybus/bus operation closed in Jan 1950.
