With Tanjong Pagar Railway Station being open during a public holiday, I took the opportunity to take as many photos as I could before its original look is soon lost to redevelopment. That also meant a lot of people at the station that day, so that meant some form of creativity was needed to make the best of every limited space.

Error by Vendel & de Wolf, the very big art installation at Westferry Circus as part of the 2025 Winter Lights at Canary Wharf. I'd got shots of this work on my Lumix the week previously when we had visited with friends but I couldn't seem to get a good shot then. So giving it a second go I was more pleased with the shots taken on my Canon DSLR.

So the rain never hit us today like they predicted for Miami... but boy I don't think I've EVER seen a rainbow like this.... Absolutely breathtaking and massive... and it looks like it is emanating right from one of the many little islands that dot Biscayne Bay.

If you look carefully you can even see pieces of another rainbow to the left and top of this one. That's not an iPhone error, this really is an image of a double-rainbow.

my Canon G10 crapped the bed for no reason in particular. every pic is either grossly overexposed, black, has horizontal banding all across it or, if I'm lucky, looks like this gem above. I'm still under warranty so hopefully I will have this cleared up soon. will try shooting with a guest camera for a bit.
