Honoring Legacy, Empowering the Future
On February 20, 2025, the Neighborhood Association for Inter-Cultural Affairs (NAICA) hosted an inspiring Black History Month Celebration and Panel Discussion at Metropolitan College of New York. This event brought together community leaders, activists, and professionals to reflect on Black excellence, resilience, and progress.
With Assembly Member Hon. Chantel Jackson as the moderator, the distinguished panel featured:
⭐ Hon. Kim A. Wilson – Supreme Court Judge, Bronx Count
⭐ Lewis Marshall, MD – Chief Medical Officer, Lincoln Hospital
⭐ Chris Alexander – Executive Director, NAACP NYS
⭐ Tampra Williams – Executive Director of Human Resources, NAICA
Guests engaged in thought-provoking discussions, enjoyed live musical performances, and shared a meal in celebration of Black history and culture. The event highlighted equity, leadership, and community empowerment, emphasizing the importance of continued advocacy and inclusion.
