Modern Plastics Corp. in Benton Harbor, MI on November 9, 2017. Modern Plastics Corp. closed in 2008 after being open for 71 years, and is one of many business that have closed in Benton Harbor in the mid to late 2000s during an economic recession.

NASCAR driver Jesse Iwuji and Pro Football Hall of Famer Emmitt Smith just announced a partnership with Chevrolet as they compete as Jesse Iwuji Motorsports in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2022. I interviewed both today and their elation was extensive. More importantly, Emmit and Jesse are confident that the NASCAR community and fanbase will be receptive to their presence in an era where NASCAR is clamoring for more diverse audiences.
The team will field a Chevrolet Camaro SS driven by Iwuji and run the full season. Chevrolet will provide engineering support and guidance to the first-year team and help develop team members. Chevrolet won the NASCAR Xfinity Series Manufacturer's Championship in 2021 for the 23rd time, more than any other manufacturer.

Harpur Edge hosts an Open Gallery Night, "Break Through: Unconventional, Bold, Exploratory, Evolutionary and Beyond", held at the Harpur Edge office located in the Glenn G. Bartle Tower, Thursday, November 17, 2022. Harpur Edge collaborated with the Art Museum and the Q-Center as part of an open gallery walk. All Harpur College students were encouraged to enter.
