A while back I had an idea of buying a bag a cheap toy soldiers and doing a few silhouette shots, but I never got round to it. Then the other day when we were doing our big Xmas Food/drink shop I came across these Star Wars Command sets.
Although certainly not as cheap, they are relatively detailed (would probably look good painted).
Another Star Wars Command figure shot, some really interesting designs and character choices with these figures.
The time has come yet again. I can't believe it has already been a whole year since the last Star Wars Day. Star Wars means a lot to me. It's my whole life. Star Wars Day is an awesome holiday to celebrate this amazing franchise! Because I'm homeschooled, my mom gave me today off of school because she knows how much I love Star Wars. My mom is awesome.
Here's a picture to celebrate this special day! These are all of my Lego Star Wars figures to date (Excluding duplicates and some different versions of characters). Well, I hope you all enjoy, and I'm going to get back to watching all 6 Star Wars movies! :)

It is almost a rite of passage for a Star Wars and Lego fan to build an X-Wing. I have been creating versions since 1978, striving to build the ultimate, perfect X-Wing, and have witnessed the constant evolution of Lego X-Wing models.
This is my latest creation after a 40 year building journey.

Here is the story of this strange character :
Tzizvvt was a male Brizzit who hailed from Jandoon. Claiming to be a professor of xenoarchaeology searching for a treasure known as "The Eye of the Beyonder", he was believed to be a fugitive from the Empire named Ilna.
Setting up residence in Tatooine's sewers, Tzizvvt soon became a figure of derision on the planet, dismissed as a "crazy old storyteller." He had in fact collected some treasures, which he kept in his sewer-bound residence, but kept them secret from the proletarians.
The Lutrillian war veteran Solomahal was one of the few who paid attention to Tzizvvt's stories told in Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina, and although he was not utterly convinced of the Brizzit's honesty, he was interested enough to inquire further. Impressed by Tzizvvt's collection, he agreed to help him search for his elusive treasure, even without up-front payment by the Brizzit.

For as long as I've been an AFOL I've been building and re-building these microscale Star Wars scenes.
I remember with my first attempts I was pleased to get them down to a 16x16 footprint! Since then, I've fiddled endlessly, reducing the size again and again - 12x12, 8x8, 6x4, and finally these ones, on a 4x4 base.
Don't think I'll ever manage to get them any smaller - the X-Wing in particular is a key driver of minimum scale. Not 100% happy with this design, but I think it's recognisable in the context.
Anyway, hope you like them.
