The lowest levels of the Galactic Capital of Coruscant is home to seedy creatures, slimos, gangsters and off worlders looking to avoid detection. Composed of various crime ridden canyons of districts including entertainment, residential slums and industrial waste lands, the lower levels should not be traveled alone even by a Jedi.
This is a custom set using transparent decals and LifeLites to achieve the holographic effect. The pictures aren't that great but the set in person is excellent!
The only photoshop is the crop around the edge, the black background and the red outer highlight with blue line, the rest is real effects made with custom stickers and the LifeLites!

This image, which was taken from Elgin, Scotland, shows NGC 1977, M42, M43 and NGC 1980 - i.e. ORION'S SWORD
Imaging equipment: Sky-Watcher 80ED, HEQ5 mount, Canon EOS 300D at prime focus, Astronomik CLS filter. Exposure details: Sub-frames of 900 Secs and 1000 Secs, taken on 28-29 Nov 2008; 600 Secs, 180 Secs and 60 Secs, taken on 4-5 Nov 2008: all @ f/7.5, ISO-800. Guiding equipment: Sky-Watcher 100ED, StarShoot Autoguider.
Sub-frames for the central part of M42 were taken on 21-22 Dec 2007 with an unguided Sky-Watcher Evostar-100ED Pro @ f/9 and Canon EOS 300D at prime focus. Exposure details: 1 x 30 Secs, ISO-1600; 10 x 20 Secs, ISO-800; 1 x 10 Secs, ISO-800.
I've found a new dark sky site only 20 minutes drive away, so here is
my first test shot of the Andromeda galaxy taken with a 200mm lens
on my unmodded 550D on the Astrotrac, only 37.5 minutes (15 x 150 sec)
F3.5 @ 1600 iso, no filters, no darks, no flats, I just let the photoshop
raw converter take out all the hot pixels.

I always wanted a Coruscant playset made by Lego. I'm excited by the results. The scene is lighted with LifeLites (4 white, 1 red, 1 blue). The hardest part were the stickers. Took many months of trial and error to get the effect. The stickers allow light out and will look just as good when the light is off! Very exciting results!

holy shit, is the cowboy sucking in?
pimp is on vacation at the Pimp Islands which is located off the coast of Bermuda. He is getting a well needed rest before the start of pimp week which kicks off on the holiday formally known as Columbus Day on October 10th.
But he couldn't of chosen a worst time to leave town because just as we saw would happen last episode, the Cowboy has arrived! And this time around, he isn't fucking around with fedoras. He has learned his lesson and proclaims to know a bigger pimp weakness.
"Yeeehaw my little pimpoholics. Now y'all gonna be little cowboys an' cowgirls again! Fedora? Ha! Been there done that. I'm a gonna have that for dessert after I have what I really came here fo'. Y'all know I came here for the real prize... the one thing that could destroy that STUPID LIMP PIMP FOREVER!! YEYYEEEHHAWWWW", galloped the cowboy as he rode into town.
What does he mean? No fedora? There is something that is bigger than the mighty shrine that sits on top of the pimps head, right? And did the cowboy really just refer to the pimp as ... limp? This is not good.
"And a when I a get done wit' dat, lights out y'all!!! Oh and by the way, how ya like my new image? I got myself a new vest, new boots, and new underwear with a mustang horselike animal near da crotch. YYEYEYEYYAHHHAWWWWWWW!!!"
Do the stars in the vest have special powers? What about minipimp... where is she? Someone has got to do something, right?
"Oh and by da way, I'm a gonna start bein' real evil now. See this here fairy dust? I've been trainin' this shit here up to do some pretty dastardly things. Because, oh ... ohhhh.... OHHHHHH..... MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA ... yehawww giddy up bitches!!!"

I built a model that truly defines a ship, which in the lego community stands for super huge investment of parts and is defined by at least a 100 stud long space vessel, to be built every year in September.

The htypenubianyacht is a starwars spaceship seen in Episode2 and Episode3.
This model is 104 studs in length and built with a lot of chromed parts.
Living in Fuerteventura which is used often in Starwars movies to represent Tatooine I thought it would be great to take some pictures outside with the model.
A prototype of the Acklay and Reek which was made in 2002 for the 2005 Lego Star Wars Weekend. They decide to cancel this set because one of them believed "it would not sell well".
