# Episode2. This is photo 2 in a sequence that will build into an Album. At Burgess Park Lake today (21 June 2020) a Cormorant chased a Great Crested Grebe. The Grebe was carrying a big fish. The question is what happend next: to the Cormorant, the Grebe and the Fish? See #Episode3 tomorrow at this time...

Over the years I made several attempts building the XJ-6 Airspeeder from Star Wars: Attack of the Clones. This speeder has some very subtle curved shapes which used to be the bottleneck. Fortunately, the growing variety of shapes and colours of LEGO parts enabled me to finally succeed on designing a LEGO version of the XJ-6 Airspeeder. This model is scaled to fit in with my earlier models of the Naboo Starfighter, Jedi Starfighter and C-3PO & R2-D2. All these models are scaled to the 4 x 4 R2-D2 headpiece from set 30611.

Guess who didn't wait for December 16th to get their silver Threepio!

It's always bugged me that we've never got a silver Threepio from Clones and it still bugs me that we still haven't got a naked Threepio from Phantom Menace! It's an odd reason why I got this year's Star Wars Advent Calendar, I know. I got all the Rogue One LEGO too but no ideas are coming to mind with those.

Much to Takamichi Irie's annoyance, I half-assed this photo with the amount of detail, so I'll make a much better B-shot of the Battle Droid using Threepio's body.

Image which has exceptional meaning for me. Taken on my last night at the GEO Observatory in Spain with my friend John Griffiths. He'd asked for a printout when I finished processing this image, which sadly I was not able to ever show him. This one is for him.

I'm super happy to present my part of the Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga Collaboration! The collab depicts several levels from the beloved classic video game, leading up to the Release of The Skywalker Saga game later this year. I had the honor to build the first level of Episode II, Discovery on Kamino, one of my personal favorites from the game! This was a great chance to finally use my Jango Fett figure, again, one of my favorites from my collection. I hope you all like the build and make sure to check out the other parts of the collab here.

Minifigure scale LAAT. Wow. All I can say is that this build took an extremely long time. It went through many, many changes, re-works and overhauls. One minor change to the base of the model affects the entire remainder of the build (except the wings). It's safe to say this model caused a few headaches... The size of the end result really doesn't do the amount of pieces justice, but the weight sure does! I think it has around 3,200 pieces, which is decent considering it has a big gaping hole in the middle. However, despite all of that i'm really happy with the smooth, tidy look of it overall. But for now, I think i'll just put it on display and take a little break from it!

Here is the FINAL colorway of my UCS Microfighter Slave 1's. You should know the routine by now. I really enjoyed creating this as it has some of the craziest colors out of them all. I tried to add some discolored details for damage/wear and the right wing has even been repaired. I hope you enjoy these all together! Thanks for checking them out!!

Found this monument using googlemaps. It’s in the foothills of the West Lomond near Falkland and was built in memory of the fantastically named Onesiphorus Tyndall-Bruce (born in the 18th century) who is responsible for Falkland as we know it today. He also built The Temple of Decision which is quite possibly the best ever name for a garden shed in which to get away from your wife to drink and ponder the wonders of the universe. Took some effort to get there in the pitch black as after trying to drive up the track I grounded and nearly beached my car. After a quick reverse down the hill, Joe and I hiked the mile in the pitch black with head torches to get to the monument. Small miracle we found it in the dark, not many people come up this way. Could only find another 2 pictures of this monument on flickr. It has fantastic views north over the Howe of Fife. The ghostly apparition on right is Joe.

This is 159 x 30 sec exposures blended together using the startrails program. Two exposures were blended for the foreground with a handheld off camera sb-900 flash with frost and red gels used.

Hello guys, Here’s the Republic gunship. I’m really happy that I finally post that photo because it took ages to build this MOC. It was the biggest and most difficult project I’ve ever had and of course I had to buy new parts so it took a bit more time to finish it. But I’m happy with it although it isn’t very stable😉. It’s based on The Clone Wars so I added a few creative colours or signs like the light orange mark at the cockpit. If you like it, please leave a fave or a follow and write in the comments below. Bye!

The time has come yet again. I can't believe it has already been a whole year since the last Star Wars Day. Star Wars means a lot to me. It's my whole life. Star Wars Day is an awesome holiday to celebrate this amazing franchise! Because I'm homeschooled, my mom gave me today off of school because she knows how much I love Star Wars. My mom is awesome.

Here's a picture to celebrate this special day! These are all of my Lego Star Wars figures to date (Excluding duplicates and some different versions of characters). Well, I hope you all enjoy, and I'm going to get back to watching all 6 Star Wars movies! :)

Another shot from the archives. Taken at a ruined chuch near the Tay. Who knew you could get pink clouds at night on long exposures!? The dotted line near the horizon on the bottom right is a plane taking off from Dundee airport.

124 x 30 sec exposures blended in star trails. Off camera gelled flash used for the foreground lighting.

Taken on Thursday. This is 100 x 30 sec exposures blended in startrails.exe plus 3 exposures of 30 seconds blended with a blue/red and frost gel on the flash gun at 1/4 power for blue and frost gels and 1/1 power for red as I couldn't get into the building to get to the window.

A spooky place, quite difficult to get a decent composition for the foreground in the pitch black as well. The North star can be seen here which I am quite pleased with.

For this year shiptember2025

I built a model that truly defines a ship, which in the lego community stands for super huge investment of parts and is defined by at least a 100 stud long space vessel, to be built every year in September.

Make sure to check @brothersbrickofficial

for more info and recent entries.

The htypenubianyacht is a starwars spaceship seen in Episode2 and Episode3.

This model is 104 studs in length and built with a lot of chromed parts.

Living in Fuerteventura which is used often in Starwars movies to represent Tatooine I thought it would be great to take some pictures outside with the model.
