Thursday I took a bike ride along Lake Michigan and ended up at Sheboygan's North Point. Looking out into the lake from the viewing center I saw a large colony of gulls on a partially submerged ledge. This gull was perched on a rock quite a distance from the others. He appeared to be saying, "Don't bother me."

Flowers Bloom in an Infinite Universe inside a Teacup
When a cup of tea is made, flowers bloom inside the teacup. When the teacup is lifted, the flower petals scatter and spread outside of the cup. Flowers bloom infinitely as long as there is tea. The tea in the teacup becomes an infinite world in which the flowers continue to bloom. Drink in the infinitely expanding world.
Tea is a transformative entity, and the size of the flowers that bloom will change depending on the amount of tea. The artwork is born only when there is tea. Once the tea is drunk, the work no longer exists.
The flowers blooming in the teacup change with the passage of real time.
The artwork is forever changing and the picture at this moment can never be seen again.

LS&I 3000 leads the 1500 Tilden Job through the rock cut with empties for the mine. The pair would then return back to the yard, before grabbing a second cut of cars for the mine in a beautiful golden hour, however shadows were not my friend, nor was traffic, ceasing my ability to get a shot.

These were definitely a MATCH, primary colours!

The Acoma Pueblo tribe is a federally recognized tribal entity, whose historic land of Acoma Pueblo totaled roughly 5,000,000 acres (2,000,000 ha). Today, much of the Acoma community is primarily within the Acoma Indian Reservation. Acoma Pueblo is a National Historic Landmark.
According to the 2010 United States Census, 4,989 people identified as Acoma. The Acoma have continuously occupied the area for over 2000 years, making this one of the oldest continuously inhabited communities in the United States. Acoma tribal traditions estimate that they have lived in the village for more than two thousand years.

Surprisingly frosty morning with some amazing frost crystals . Converted this shot to b/w and then messed around with toning effects.
A stamp from the second year of the Czech Republic, which became an entity separate from Slovakia in 1993. I had no idea Czechoslovakia had split until I lifted this stamp from a grad school application envelope. Processing the applications was part of my graduate assistantship
