A King with an orchestra in his court , a Victorian household with a new fangled piano rather than yesteryears harpsichord, Edwardians with a contraption such as a gramaphone ... and so it evolves . Man throughout the ages has always had a love of music and the latest way of the time to listen to it. Here in the delightful 'House of Cards' and its various stories, lost to abandonment, are the left overs of their source of amusement.

The foals at Marbach are always very entertaining but it seems that I'm quite entertaining for them too. I was lying under the fence of the pasture to take photos of the grazing horses from a low angle when one of the foals came over to look what I was doing. When I took this shot I was still lying in the grass and the filly looked down on me.
The Colosseum @ Caesars Palace is a 4,296-seat entertainment venue with a 22,450 square feet / 2,086 m2 stage, which was originally built for Celine Dion's show "A New Day..." in 2003.
Celine Dion's show was a great success; she has had the longest residency with mor than 1,110 shows.

If you remember my holiday in Sweden last year you might also remember that I love it when there's something to discover for kids even when the main exhibition ain't aiming at them specifically.
The Paläon in Schöningen has a lot to discover aynway but there are also (hidden in strange places) sketches of this guy. I have no idea if I managed to spot them all but I did try.
