The kitties love the warm months as much as we do. Having the patio door open to watch birds and listen to their morning chorus is better than any TV show!
This wing of the Wrest Point casino was added in 1984, and greatly expanded the capacity for gaming as well as including a very large concert hall. So many world famous performers have appeared on stage here.
In normal times there would be people everywhere in a shot like this. But as you can see the centre is largely empty. All concerts and shows have been cancelled through to the end of the year.

Always love starting out my day with one or more of these visitors. They even hung around long enough to let me finish getting ready for work; lol!!!

Of course, the bed is the best place for cats to play. Especially for Pica, who’s a bit clumsy but a champion at high jumps.

The Ginza (銀座) is Tokyo's most famous upmarket shopping, dining and entertainment district, featuring numerous department stores, boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, night clubs and cafes. One square meter of land in the district's center is worth over ten million yen, making it one of the most expensive real estate in Japan.
From 1612 to 1800, today's Ginza district was the site of a silver coin mint (Ginza means "silver mint" in Japanese), after which the district was eventually named. The Ginza evolved as an upmarket shopping district following the 1923 Great Kanto Earthquake.

Impromptu portrait of two fabulous street performers on Buchanan Street in Glasgow, Scotland. She may be tiny but her voice is enormous! A great guitar and vocal talent duo that bring cheers, smiles and applause to the street of the city. I really should have found out their names by now as I have heard, and enjoyed, them many times. Enjoy full screen by pressing 'L' or clicking the image.

Inaugurated in 1847, the Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert are among the oldest in Europe. They are comprised of three shopping arcades: the Queen’s Gallery, the King’s Gallery and the Princes’ Gallery.
The Galeries Royales, in the heart of Brussels, around the corner from the Grand-Place, are home to many shops and entertainment venues. There are jewellery shops, luxury boutiques, pastry and biscuit shops, Belgian chocolate shops, traditional shops, cafés and restaurants of all kinds… For culture, it also features the bookshop Tropismes, the Cinéma d’art et essai Galeries, and the Théâtre Royal des Galeries and the Vaudeville. Upstairs, coworking areas, hotel rooms and flats overlook the galleries.
