Follow the moonbeams
And enter my dreams.
Show me where to live
And set myself free.
Only in the night
Where the shadows fill the room.
That is where you will find me.
Underneath the moon.

A man is entering through the main gate of the Ark of Bukhara, Uzbekistan.
The ark is a fortress that was initially built in the 5th century. Almost 800 meters of walls, which are 16-20 metres high. Bombed by the Red Army in 1920, and now partially restored.

We did an evening walk after work and kindergarten today to see the British aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth (R08) down in the harbour here in Oslo.
The carrier entered service in 2020 and can take up to 60 aircrafts! It is 284 m long and has 9 decks below the flight deck. Max speed is 32 knots (59 km/h) and total range is 10,000 nautical miles (19,000 km).
Entered into TMI's Sept 2025 contest, "Rocks in Focus".

Lake effect clouds finally poofed out to bring a little sun to the afternoon. Westbound CSX Q562-22 shows up with an old EMD SD70AC leading. I can't think there's too many of these things left in circulation with the glut of new and rebuild power on a locomotive-trimmed CSX. Willow Creek, IN.
That time of year is coming round again for Jonathans check up..

150003 2J74 17:47 Leeds to Bradford Interchange approaching Dewsbury.
A trip to the area yesterday see two things soon to be lost, one much sooner than the other.
Introduced in the 1980s and around 40 years old the 150 Sprinters soldier on performing duties they were intended, local commuter trips. How much longer will they last, possibly make 50?
The view of the north side of Dewsbury station will be lost in the next few months. Not obviously visible from here, but the foundations for the overhead wire masts are already in, in the right hand cess and soon this wonderful view will be lost behind poles and wires.
Don't look down, the rubbish on in the undergrowth is despicable. Sad that an area with great architecture is let down by a community which seems happy to discard rubbish and flytip wherever they can.
The local landmark, the Emley Moor television mast / radio transmitter stands proudly in the distance. I wonder in this modern digital age how long it will be operational.
When built it in 1971, at 312m it was the sixth tallest freestanding structure in the world. It's now protected by its grade 2 listed status.
