Trzeba zacząć od tego, że jestem tak daleki od bycia obiektywnym jak stąd do Plutona. Ta lalka po prostu bardzo mi się podoba i nie sądziłem, że właśnie spodoba mi się tak bardzo. Utkwiła mi w głowie od jakiegoś czasu, raz mnie ominęła, na własne życzenie i kiedy pojawiła się w polskim sklepie internetowym, toczyłem ze sobą boje przez blisko cały, długi tydzień.
To w końcu Silka, dostępna u nas, praktycznie od ręki, ba, Silka ze „starszej generacji”, odkąd wiemy, że nowe lalki z tej linii dostaną artykułowane ciało, postanowiłem baczniej przyglądać się tym starszym, bo nowy charakter gałęzi kolekcjonerskiej BFMC jakoś nie kusi mnie szczególnie mocno.
Tutaj wszystko jest takie, jakie powinno być, wytworne, nieziemsko eleganckie, obdarzone wyniosłym spojrzeniem i ustami ułożonymi w dzióbek – lepiej być nie może. Odszycie stroju i jego forma są dużym plusem – obficie marszczony płaszczyk z kontrafałdą na plecach i prosta sukienka z zakładkami przy dekolcie z pasującym paskiem w talii są jak czekoladki w bombonierce – wszystko wygląda jak do zjedzenia! Odrobinę czepiałbym się tylko wyboru tkaniny – ta jest „podszewkowa”, cienka, lekka, poliestrowa i wydaje ten charakterystyczny dla tego typu tkanin szelest. I trzeba było lekko przeprasować płaszczyk po wyjęciu z pudełka. Rozumiem ten wybór, przy lalkowej skali i dość skomplikowanej konstrukcji angażującej zakładki, zaszewki, fałdy i marszczenia tkanina faktycznie musi być odpowiednio cienka, żeby wszystko miało szansę wyglądać naturalnie. Gdyby jednak wybrano poliestrową tkaninę imitującą jedwabny atłas lub satynę, moim zachwytom nie byłoby końca. Turban jest przyszyty do głowy lalki i być może w późniejszym etapie go zdejmę, teraz jednak zostaje. Po zdjęciu okrycia wierzchniego z jego wszystkimi zakładkami, zaszewkami i „bufiastościami” wydaje się być odrobinę za duży i lalka przypomina lizak na patyku. Wywijające się spod turbana pejsy są też... eee... interesującym elementem. Nie do końca najbardziej reprezentacyjnym, ale w jakiś sposób nie przeszkadzają mi tak mocno. Mam w planach podkręcić je odrobinę i myślę, że to doda lalce uroku.
Podsumowując ten ogólny festiwal zachwytów, jestem bardzo zadowolony, lalka jest piękną, zamkniętą całością – ten strój, dodatki i jej charakter vintage, wszystko do siebie pasuje i wygląda bosko. W przyszłości będę chciał odkryć jej inny wymiar, zdejmę turban, przebiorę i myślę, że czeka mnie sporo zabawy z badaniem jej możliwości stylizacyjnych.

I need to start with being so far from being objective as from here to Pluto. I really enjoy this doll and didn't thought that actually I will love her so much. She got stuck in my mind for some time, once I missed the opportunity to have her, and it was on me, but when I saw her in our Polish online shop I fought with myself for a whole long week. The result of this fight is quite obvious ;)
I mean, it is Gold Label Silkstone doll, available in my country (which doesn't happens often, believe me), and she is an “older generation” Silkstone – since I know that new BFMC dolls are going to have this new articulated body, I started to look more closely at those older Silkies, because the character of the new ones seems a bit different.
Here, in Luncheon Ensemble everything is as it should be, extremely elegant, exquisite, with those lordly gaze and and heart-shaped lips – it doesn't get better than this. Construction of an outfit and its form are huge plus – the voluminous but light cloak with double fold on the back and simple sheath dress with little folds on decolletage, belted at the waist is like a delicious box of chocolates – everything is so scrumptious! I'm only picking on a fabric choice a bit – it's a lining-like fabric, very lightweight, polyester-y and it gives you this specific rustle. I do get this choice, with this scale and quite complicated construction with all this folds, tucks and rouches the fabric needs to be of proper thickness so everything in this outfit made sense. But if only the fabric could be a polyester imitation of silk atlas or satin I would be perfectly happy, but, as it is, I do not feel discouraged at all. The turban is sewn on to doll's head and for now on it's going to stay that way. When the voluminous cloak is taken off, the turban might look a bit too big and doll looks like a lollypop. Those strands of hair looks is slightly off but I think it's quite interesting, maybe not the greatest idea on hairstyling ever, but it doesn't bother me that much. I'm going to curl those and think that the doll would look even more adorable.
In conclusion to this whole festival of joy and delight, I'm extremely pleased and this doll is a great and complete, head-to-toe creation. Everything is on point with her and looks simply divine. In the future I'm definitely going to experiment with redressing her, taking this turban off and see how will she benefit a small change of this significant style. This is going to be a lot of fun.

The Nutcracker Ballet is famous for its music composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. My work Nutcracker Ensemble is a fantastic remake of the classic Toy Soldiers. I choose a music theme that fits these amazing nutcrackers best. The band members include three Toy Soldiers (violin, drum and trumpet) and Rat King (accordion).
The Nutcracker theme is quite suitable for building LEGO. Its gorgeous shapes and colors are definitely an indispensable home decoration in the new year.
